An absolutely stellar documentary of the bands entire history, including every known release and shenanigans, coupled with amazing editing and overall aesthetics. A masterful work. You deserve a special amount of recognition and props for making something this laborious, which you obviously did out of pure love for the band, it's a an honorable and commendable effort. Great stuff. And as a wise man once said. Death Grips is pretty hardcore stuff.

1:45:47 my tweet they retweeted made the video lol Also, this is the ultimate DG video, you legit covered the unknown songs, ARG, and album sound in a full documentary with amazing editing and a striking visual style that fits DG. Great job, hopefully this doesn’t go under-appreciated. The credits featuring every final DG song going to the first track by them, is surprisingly nostalgic for me, and a great wrap up. I hope you make a follow up in the future, possibly when the band is fully over.

The songs for Fashion Week are actually “Runway” not runaway, each track is supposed to be a soundtrack to a fashion runway, when the models walk down the cat walk, the instrumentals are supposed to create this atmosphere which it does successfully, put on any track over a runway show and it works

11:35 From my understanding of the Money Store cover, it's a BDSM couple leaving a Walmart. The idea was to combine the sick and twisted with everyday life, showing that it's become utterly banal. This reflects the bands themes of the album: the rising of the depraved to the surface and how little it phases us anymore.

dg may not be for everyone but its universally appreciated by heavy and repetition-oriented music listeners for being as good as it gets in many regards so while they are not for everyone they are essentially the only heavy band everyone agrees on and that means they are astronomically popular. sorry for everyone who finds this less fun, but dg came out over 10 years ago and were far from a secret/ did not remain an underground thing very long simply bc the music was obviously unbelievable from the jump. also while they do make music for outsiders they do not make 'outsider music' (jandek daniel johnston, tonetta are actual examples of this)
