Could Hoges tell the future. He seems to have made some spot on predictions.

Loved it! Change the channel on the news and it's exactly the same rubbish on Channel 9 as it is on channel 7. Only the background logo changes. Bwahahhaha!

Isn’t it funny how RIGHT he has it - lamb in 2020!

When this sketch was made you could buy a Lamb Cutlet for around .25 cents each. Now they're anywhere between $1.50 - $2.50 each and $$3.50 for frenched. Mary had a little lamb, it's now worth more than gold.

The Coke bubble TV commercial was actually one of the most dangerous commercials for the "actors" in its day.

Was not the guy with the remote control the lead singer of the "little river band" who were big in USA in the 1970's, around the same time. Looks alot like him.

Glenn was also a founding member of The Twilights, Axiom as well as LRB. Well known bands. It's also interesting to note the "remote control TV" sketch was a deliberate tongue-in-cheek gag; the set shown is a non-remote model from 1976/77; the "remote control device" Glenn demonstrates (if you look closely) is a calculator.😇

For anyone who doesn't know, the T-bone Bandit is Peter "Gidday" Russell "Gidday" Clarke, a celebrity chef of the time, who used to shill for the Australian Dairy Corporation, selling cheese, and as seen here, butter.
