a throwback for anyone who paid attention to my SoundCloud round about the time I started kinda popping off on KZbin.
I wrote this 5 years ago with the idea that I'll make it something more but like most plans I make, it never came to anything.
fast forward a wee bit later, I receive a message from someone telling me they had written a vocal melody and lyrics for the song. I listened to it and instantly fell in love with it. It felt like the song was complete. I decided that with this project, I can update the song a little bit and finally give it a place on my channel.
Musically, I don't think it's the most exciting song but it is what it is

The musical simplicity of the guitar part really suits the song, it gives it a kind of zen vibe, building up to the climax... but then you give us that calm-before-the-storm to make us relax THEN hit us with the the breakdown. Which itself is basically just two notes - and that's fine. It doesnt need any more. Sometimes less truly is more, and this is definitely proof. Kmac, I know you struggle with mental health and self esteem, but I want you to know you are very much appreciated.
