Wilhelm is such a tragic character, he suffered so much for the peace and prosperity yet still ended up being hated and defamed. His life is like a Greek tragedy, so intricate and elaborate that it's hard to believe it has actually happened and not just been written by a genius author aiming to hurt our hearts with his creation. Very few have suffered like he did and for nought, the only good being that he was granted a peaceful end, yet still to the very end he asked himself if he had made the right choice, has he done good onto his subjects and all the people of the world, if there was anything he could have done to prevent this, his only hope was that the Lord will judge him rightfully, unlike his fellow men. For me Kaiser represents a figure akin to Christ, although a bit of a hyperbole I find that the similarities in the "story" make this a fair comparison.

There is no greater pain than to send the childern to a slaughter. Even more so when all the people cried for war, and when it happened, it was too late to stop.

@@nilsmadej9091 He was ultimately to weak to stop the war. He didn’t protest it at all publicly and he was clearly fine with millions of his countrymen dying for years. He was also a hilariously incompetent diplomat who was partly responsible for setting his country up for a rivalry with the UK which ended up costing him his throne and Germany a generation of men And I think those soldiers he and his family (his son and heir) helped send to their deaths were in greater pain than he was

The longer you spoke of each back stab to him the more anger I felt building up thanks to you I know more about Kaiser Wilhelm II and understand more about him as a person that history doesn’t show him as someone who loved his country and his people. Since I started watching your videos about Wilhelm II I have been defending him any time I feel it necessary hell when I made a comment under a video of a clip from a movie with the Kaiser in exile getting angry about a Nazi officer making slid remarkers on him being the reason him and is mother ended up in squalor, I made the comment explaining my views on the man and saying that he was the last great leader of Germany. After which people started to use every London/Paris Propaganda in the book and (I’m not making this up) one of them even said “Hitler was a better leader then Kaiser Wilhelm II. Good people act like sheep sometimes regardless I have enjoyed this series and have enjoyed your work thank you my good man for your dedication to our Kaiser. And thank you for yet another reason to hate Wilson I guess this will be point number 374 of “Why I Hate Woodrow “I hate anyone who’s black or German” Wilson.”

I’ve recently become a viewer of your content (you can thank Spoon for that) and I just want to acknowledge and thank you for the work that you’ve put into the videos you’ve made. As an American, I’ve been quite ignorant of European history - much more when it comes to the monarchies of the past. In fact, it’s quite humbling to see how earnest rulers like Wilhelm II were compared to the endless sea of corruption our democratic leaders are mired in today. Maybe we could learn a thing or two from Wilhelm’s example?

It is hardly Britain’s fault that Germany decided to invade a neutral country that was under their protection. Thereby giving them a legal and moral reason to intervene in the war A classic case of Germans thinking they own the world and biting of a bit more than they can chew

It sucks how despite all the chivalry, duty, and loyalty to his nation and people; WIlhelm II was humiliated and made helpless by the entente who only wanted to establish internationalist power and destroy traditional Germanic customs. laws and cultural foundations which Wilhelm and all the kings of Germany during and before his time, as well as the German peasantry, dutifully followed. Churchill and Wilson did not follow those same Germanic customs believing that their internationalist ideologies were morally superior and by vying for its destruction the very essence, heritage and identity of the Germanic people were destroyed so much that the people who are of Germanic ancestry merely call themselves "White". A vague and meaningless identity which shows they have no heritage/culture like other ethnic cultures.
