Can someone explain to me why Paradox has some particularly unfair and ridiculous things in this game? I'm playing Ajam. I supported Transoxiana liberty against Timurids. I got called into the war, but Otto got called in to help Afghanistan so I had to rush to take as much land as possible before they got there and were annoying, like taking provinces I wanted etc. Timurids went to siege down Afghanistan. Transoxiana seemingly did nothing, so I took most of the sieges & land. We were on 99%. I went to siege down some Afghan forts. Suddenly the ai declared peace. I got a few provinces fine. When I went to check my alliance with Transoxiana, I realised I wasnt allied with them. Even worse, Timurids got to keep ALL of his vassals. How is it that I can be on 99% and just cos Tim has one Afghan fort, they can peace out and keep all their vassals and I dont even get Transoxiana as an ally? This game cheats like a mofo!

Yeah the AI in Paradox games cheats 100%. They call it “luck” but basically it’s cheating to balance out the players.

@@TheBigSal i think they should just change it to cheat as much as players want.. this would just involve having lots of difficulty settings in the options.. like on 7 days to die, you can turn feral sense on or off, have running zombies or walking zombies, lots of loot or no loot, respawning and not losing loot or losing loot.. the same could be applied to eu4 or eu5 hopefully... enemies win sieges easily? no thanks... lots of rebels or not many? enemies can run away miles faster than you? no thanks.. enemies know exactly what war ur planning cos you quickly checked the declare war screen and now 2 months later they magically have a new alliance? no thanks.. allies & vassals purposefully throw away their armies and keep leaving sieges for no reason? no thanks
