He used to be the most feared character... Cause he got a new stance. Once people learned that his stance had easy counters and was easy to read; they started crying about his heat smash. Then they GUTTED his heat smash, and after that... They removed all pushback on his ff2 which already didn't have reach. The only thing I agreed with was the nerf to the Heat Smash. Cause it shouldn't have BOTH super range and super tracking. But removing BOTH as much as they did was also unnecessary. Quite the moment to be a DJ Main.

DVJ got the Leroy treatment in T7... He's no a well-rounded Mishima based on 50/50 anymore( he his the only mishima who doesn't have a i13f electric and cd4 sucks ass due to abnourmous recoverable health and no oki), he has no poking, his flash punch is the worst in the game, his ff2 is by far the worst among all mishimas, every thing you press is quite unsafe, no fast counter hits launchers and i could go on. This character is still usable thanks to gimmicks, electrics and cd4, and it requires a lot of practice... The only nerf i can understand is the heat smash, he shouldn't had got that range and that tracking but they should have nerfed only the latter to be fair

@@daro375 Sure, and I gave an example where the move is used not in a vacuum, but in a mixup. I agree that doesn't make the character automatically good, but there are other ways to improve the move that don't imply a 40% damage increase on an unreactable low. You can give more frames on hit to CD4,4 for example. Also bd2 should get more damage. 55 damage on the hellsweep basically means you win the round hitting an unreactable low three times. That's crazy.

Also, a good majority of which can just be played on an emulator (which you don't buy) or are free on PC anyway. Trust me, I grew up with Playstation, but paying $80 just to play online and get some monthly bland games just ain't worth the poor loading times, terrible servers, limited selection of games, and overall lower possibility with said games. If online was free, I'd probably be playing Tekken 8 on a PS5 right now, but that price increase for online is what sealed it for me. It's not the only reason, but it was the deciding factor

Im tired of people in the comments acting like DVJ is the literal worst character in the game by a large margin. He's not the best competitive Character and has a execution barrier, but that's about it. Even the worst Mishima demon paw is still a demon paw, electric is still a top 5-10 move, his hellsweep is arguably one of the best high risk high reward Lows in the game. Flash punches are good. The list goes on. He has tools that straight up suck hard but if you play to his strengths he's a decent character. Yes he's not pick up and play but please stop pretending he has literally nothing to work with. Hes not great, but also not unusable.

The thing that bothers me the most about Devil Jin's situation is that most people who say he's strong don't even know how to play the game. Not to mention that they won't even have tried it. Just to clarify, it's not that Devil Jin doesn't have tools but they are so much less effective than the other mishimas, that it's unnerving. Not to mention that if I do the infamous hellswip launcher you'll have a shit ton of recoverable life and the fact that is soo fucking punishable (In most of his moves).

Dunno about hellsweep. Ofc it is amazing move, but it doesn't give you something better than 45~ damage with ton of recoverable health and you ever can't use vortex after this. And for this amount of damage you always risk to got launcher which take a half of your HP if you hit block. Also at the wall it's basically the worst hellsweep, you can't do any wallcombo with it, you even don't get any guarantee damage after hellsweep at the wall, and at the wall you get for some reason less damage from hellsweep than if you do it in the center of the map. With DJ you can't play safe, you always must trade your HP and always play risky for win, and risk with hellsweep just simply not reward you enough.

@@SkarjOS max 45 damage without heat, 54 damage with heat, have 0 oki as well btw. oki route is 36 dmg which is ironically the same as kazuyas except kazuya has 100x better oki and wall splats. how we are downplaying dvj hellsweep is beyond me it really is man. oh dont forget dvj hellsweep is just that much worse because you have no real low poke as db2 becomes easily reactable in tk+ but keep telling me how dvj isnt bad because of hellsweep.

I get "free" games every month, including some new games that release day 1 on psplus, alongside a pretty big collection of others games, massive psplus discounts that go up to 90% and 10% preorder discounts, i can turn off crossplay and not get any goddamn hackers and cheaters and other nifty useful perks like cloud saves, streaming games, a payback points system that got me ariund at least 80€ in the last year (its arpund 5€ back for each 120€ you spend. But you get bonuses for buying and playing certain games) and also some really cool collectables with the PlayStation stars system. Im sure spending for psplus is around the equivalent of the extra money you spend on electricity bills with your PC.

1. Monitors aren't exclusive to PC, and I don't know why you wouldn't want to invest in a monitor in the first place if you're playing tekken or any competitive game. Input latency on Screens is a thing you know? 2. Using prebuilts as a example for Console being better because they are more expensive is idiotic reasoning. A lot of them are meant for looking pretty and cash grabs then performance. Anyone with a functioning braincell will tell you to build it individually yourself because it's way cheaper. Not to mention it's not that hard to figure out how to make a PC better than Console. You'd have to really try to break your parts in order for them to be damaged. 3. Tekken 8's version on pc has problem with stutters and random disconnects that happen due to the way the game is on steam. It has nothing to do with the performance of the specs because the game still has technical issues. I guarantee that most of the people you play aren't experiencing issues with the game because of their specs. 4. No one's asking for you to switch to PC but the comparison was that the PS5 pro in terms of value is not worth it because what it offers at base value for anyone looking to start playing games. Might as well invest in a pc. 5. You really don't know know have any clue on what you're talking about do you? The amount of power on a PC varies depending on the game the graphics and the amount of specs needed to run the game. Pc's aren't just making jet engines sounds 24/7 unless you're running a highly intensive game at ultra settings. Not to mention leaving it on for a extended period of time. Most of the time Pc's that are mid-midhigh range are going to be running at around 300watts. You'd have to be pushing your pc to the limit for it to break that. Not to mention you're getting extra performance and all around more diverse set of things you can do for a little more power consumption. The example you're talking about is the highest end of Pc's going turbo mode with Ray tracing 24/7. It's not applicable to majority of pc players. Ps plus + your electricity bill vs PC with my electric bill. Ps5 pro still costs more long term. Also you seem to be mistaken most things powered by electrically aren't the big heavy hitters when it comes to the bill. Most of the time it's the lowering of room temperature via some electronic or source in your house. So that blow dryer of a Ps5 that will heat up your room will do more harm to your wallet than a pc will. Again, It's not a pc problem it's common sense. Either stop leaving your stuff on or stop running games that obviously are too demanding for your sht box 5 pro. 6. Oh wow free games. So cool, it's not like any other platform besides Nintendo doesn't do the same thing but better. Literally you're not even saving money unless you play 90% of those games. Pc gets the same discounts for more frequently and more importantly don't have to pay for a premium edition along with access to play online to get the same thing. If that game happens to not be part of the subscription anyone you've effectively rented a Blu-ray DVD for 12 days. Oh wow bonuses we get those too. Not to mention our catalog of getting games is way bigger. We don't just steam you know that right? Collectibles? Really? Pls duct tape your mouth, you are a the whole circus. Besides 90% of those games are probably not even that good to begin with. Flexing that you get the sequel to Bubsy 3D the game isn't really something you should be flexing. 7. It's not even a little faster I guarantee that midrange pc's still outperform consoles. If the economy didn't get rammed prices wouldn't be jacked up for at the moment 7. You're paying basically almost a 1000 dollars on a ps5 pro with everything just for a feature to optimize your game. Which we can do for free? 8. You're just as obnoxious and somehow appear to be less intelligent then those "master race" fan boys you're talking about. 9. It's a pc, it's not just tied to gaming. You realize that consoles are overpriced glorified pc's that function on a select few tasks right? You're paying for a half baked gpu toaster to do less than half the things you can do on a PC. Consoles are marketed towards more causal audiences because they are more accessible that's it. Other than that realistically speaking in terms of longevity and saving Pc's far outweighs consoles in not only specs but how well they run games as well. Oh yea last thing. I got dead island 2 gold edition like a month or 2 ago for 20€. It's 70€ on steam. Tekken is 45€ on PSN right now. On steam it's 40€. The ultimate edition is 77€ on steam, 84€ on PSN. Literally both are 43% and 30% off on both PSN and steam. Most discounts like that are universal. the PSN specific discounts are just as good or a few € more. I'm getting dragons dogma 2 to be ready for PS5PRO for 39€. It's 37€ on steam. Kingdom come deliverance royal Ed. Is 4€ on PSN, 40€ on steam. Most games are 10% off if you preorder them, making them priced like steam. Re4 remake gold edition is 40€ on both. Arkham knight premium ed. Is 6€ and 40€ on steam. I can go on, you get the point. It's not 2014 anymore. PSN discounts are up there with steam. And they are monthly. The comparison is between the same games, specifically Tekken 8, not you watching porn vs a console playing the most demanding game. It's obvious less demanding games consume less, that applies to the PS5 as well. Duh. Ah... whatever, lets address some few more points 1) monitors are specifically designed for PC. I don't play on a monitor, I play on an oled LG C11, which has better latency and input lag than LCD monitors. It's on par and even better than the best monitors set at 60hz and 120hz, with only 4.8ms. Only monitors at 240hz and above get an input lag that's better, between 1.8 and 2.8. unless you actually play at such FPS (good luck btw doing that in modern games), you need Vsync on. That's 50ms of input lag. No that it matters much anyway, because 4.8 Ms is godlike. It's virtually impossible to feel the difference between 1.8 to 2.8ms vs 4.8ms. however it is very clear that the tv has MUCH better panels, colors and contrast ratio vs these expensive high frequency monitors. Point 3) so ... PC stutters and has problems. It's not the PC but it's the game? ..WTF DOES IT CHANGE? It's the PC and the game. PC has issues in tekken 8. Doesn't matter why. It's even worse then if that's the case and more of a case to play on console, no? 7) and 7) 😆 A mid range PC is clearly not performing like a PS5PRO. You can lower the settings to match the fps or match the graphics by lowering the fps sure, but not 1:1. As digital foundry already pointed out, you need at least a 4070 to match the PS5PRO capabilities and even then, it's only on paper. Add the console optimization as always, and you get better performance, as always. Also it's not 1000€. It's 700€. Let's not round up by a whole 300€ just to try and make a point that doesn't even stick. 9) yeah and you also pay 60.000$ for a glorified battery and PC on wheels when you buy a car.
