Absolutely amazingly tight band, So,so,so, underrated, Roy's fantastic Hammond sound, Tab's slick bass runs, And Trevors incredible Drumming so fast accurate and precise, Faultless, plus Roy's brilliant vocal, what isn't there to like!, need I say more....BUT I WILL!!!, I have to be a little biased here and come down and comment on the phenomenal Drumming here, but check out My Funny Valentine, and Love for Sale off the same album Three for All, to realise the consistency of talent on show, WOW!!!, Just blows me away everytime!!!

Many years ago about 1964 to 1966 me and my girlfriend, now wife, used to go a place called Spennymoor in County Durham, where they would play in a night club. Loved them then and love the music now. Avery long time ago!!!!

Born in 63 My mum and dad played the Freewheelers album to death in the late sixties.. How on earth they weren't bigger I will never know.. Just superb like nothing else.. Still one of my fave LPs..

Their level of musicianship is awesome even by 2016 standards. By mid-Sixties standards they were out of this world. Still sooo very good!

Pretty powerful when you consider the tune is a protest song about a guy going off to fight in the Vietnam war, hence the line 'And I don't know if I'm ever comin' home."

My best friend, Ian McMillan (the poet) and I used to listen to the Peddlers in the late 60's and 70's, and we were and are still great fans. I suppose it was our introduction to jazz.

Great version. The instrumental part (1:43 - 2:28) was used by radio DJ David Colman on his tuesday evening show on German radio WDR 2 in the 70s as the opening tune.

Why don't we hear more Peddler's music on mainstream media?
@paulgriffiths30826 жыл бұрын
Norman Forsey because our society has been conditioned to accept crap as music.
