I was only about 7 or 8 years when my dad and my uncles the Harmonizing Echoes use to sing this but it wasn’t until I became an adult that I understood the value of the message in this song ✝️💜💜

There will be peace. This song brings back such memories. My brothers and sister and I use to perform this song as children. . It is what put a longing in my heart for Jesus. A longing that continues. God gives peace, an unexplainable peace. Look to Jesus, he WILL save you!

This song was one of my favorites as a child. I've been looking for it for years, but didn't know the name of the artist. I even sought the help of a Gospel Radio Announcer, but to no avail. Thank you for posting this!

Clyde was my cousin. Titus Town, Norfolk, VA, They performed Peace in the Valley at my Father's Funeral in 1971. This song has been my life Mantra! It has kept me in God's care for over 45 years. As children my siblings and I performed this song many many times a few times with the Gospel Gents AKA Pearless Four.

They rehearsed at my grandmother's house at 1508 O'Keefe St. I haven't seen the Peerless Four members since the 1980s. I wouldn't recognize them if I saw them. I know that Calvin Wilson died in March 1985 if I remember correctly.
