Why would the film crew push the penguins down a cliff? It was referencing Disney doing exactly that in a film/doco (White Wilderness) that perpetuated the myth of lemmings tossing themselves off cliffs. There are docos about it, easy to find on YT

It's not a bad movie. He's even quite funny. But I don't like him for one reason. They made penguins morons. And this is absolutely inconsistent with the source materials. In Madagascar, their technology is improvised, but everything they do is excellent. And this movie was not made thanks to the popularity of Madagascar. Only thanks to the popularity of the penguin series. Which came out between 2009-2013. And there also their technology was much less advanced than NW, but ... they built, for example, a teleport. Or a cloning machine. We also have a much more extensive history of them. For example, it's not like there were 4. There were 6 only two died (at least that's what Skipper thinks).
