Folks not from Chicago will ever know the influence WGN had on our lives in the 60s.

Watched WGN and recorded the shows in Maine when they added it to our lineup. A very memorable part of my life

At the 5:20 mark, there is an ever so short, top quality video tape footage of Sgt. Pettibone (Rayner) and Tracer (dog puppet). There has to be more than that! This is the first I've ever seen any archive video of The Dick Tracy Show.

Umm….the music on WGN part… WHERE TF IS SOUL TRAIN?!!? That’s a pretty important part of the WGN story you just completely omitted there!!! There was a time when Soul Train was as identifiable to the station as Cubs baseball was. You made it appointment television on Saturdays! Nobody gives AF about that stupid Barn Dance crap! Give Don Cornelius his flowers!!!!

To this day, when we give opinions on something at work, us "older" employees will toss in an occasional " . . . And I am Len O'Connor".

Oh yes, Allison Payne was a great reporter and so sexy. I tuned in just to get lost in her eyes.
