This is beautiful. It also makes me think of the Charlie Murphy True Hollywood Story about Rick James: "I wouldn't just grind my feet in somebody's couch like that, I got a little more sense than that......yeah, I remember grindin' my feet into Eddie's couch."

And this is the reason why Johnnie was the lead in the O.J. Simpson trial...

@starbury64 Жыл бұрын
@@jaymike3302 Of course not, this is TV. But you have to consider the racial tension as well as the approach to the case.

No, no, Lee, Lee I’m very upset. These claims should be sanctioned! *How dare* they say that we played the race card! I stand before you right now and say race has never, and will never, be an issue in this case! Never! (Goes to brood in another side of the room)

Then Robert told Barbara Walters they did in fact play the race card right after the verdict 😂😂

Shpario lit a bomb with telling the press he was going to play the race card with Fuhrman because Fuhrman sued to get his pension largely claiming the job made him racist. Shapiro told the press this before Cochran was even a member of the dream team. Then pretty much ran from the race card once it was lit for a combination of reasons.

people who trash on Travolta's performance are clueless. Travolta did exactly what he was supposed to do. Shapiro is supposed to be an insincere character. He's cringey because he creates a false sense of conviction that is easy to read through. You're supposed to notice this in contrast to Johnnie Cochran, who is more passionate. The show even alludes multiple times to the fact that Shapiro doesn't actually believe OJ was innocent, as opposed to Cochran where innocence isn't even part of the discussion
