My question is why they changed yurtles original character from the book. Sure mind you it's a big step up from a greedy king but still confusing.

They probably couldn't find a different way to include him. He's such an important character of Dr Seuss' that they probably didn't want to leave him out, but couldn't fit his original story into the show.

Just got cast as Yertle 🐢 It's a bit odd, I'm a soprano attempting to sing deep and intimidating, but the lowest I can get is A3 😂

I actually saw a show of little shop of horrors where they cast Audrey 2 (normally a deep bass) as a soprano, and it was awesome! I would suggest owning it!
