I have the same bike, a 2024 Polygon Colossus n8e. But mine is upgraded with auto shift technology. For me, the bike is as you say... " it just rips!" In fact, the best bike I have ever owned, and I have had some top name bikes. Thats actually true, but is only mentioned to make a point.

Great vid and I really appreciate the N8E coverage. Im thinking about converting my 38 fork to 170mm also. How did yours handle compared to the stock 160mm? Does it handle tech climbs still or is it strictly a for the DOWNS? Love the Kashima!

Oh man! Just do it! If you find the climbing gets worse, just lower the stem a few spacers down. I didn’t feel a difference climbing! Just more buttery smooth squish!🤘🏻

Whatever you do, don’t try a coil on this bike. That x2 will go on the shelf. Btw, the x2 is my favorite air shock but a coil is just that good!

Man! Me too! Love it! No rattle on mine. The motor shakes a little bit inside but that’s normal… all Shimanos do it.

Have motor rattle on mine too, also make sure your fork pinch bolt didn't fall out like mine.

@@BubsMTB I do a lot of steeps here in BC and prefer a 27.5" rear for clearance and maneuverability.
