Worms Armageddon with infinite ropes was so much fun while everyone was learning how to use them but once we were good at swinging around, the meta just became travelling wherever you wanted on the map every turn. We ended up banning ropes for a while.

What a game that was, def having less weapons makes it more tense. Ninja roping in old games reminded me, there used to be maps in the Armageddon era where there was no landmass at all and everything you had to stand on were small girders dotted around. Those were fun to play with friends with customized weapon packs that had no direct hit weapons and no jetpacks.

Not that they will ever read this but to counter your incorrect stream chat at 25:32 , you do not need to use the rope before jumping. What happened was that when your worm starts to fall at a certain speed (let's call it terminal velocity), the ability to shoot the rope goes out the window and the turn is over as the game knows you're going to take fall damage or drown. If you have the parachute equipped then it activates just before that speed and the turn continues. All the best 😉
