This looks so easy. They alerted everyone in sight and still killed all within 5 seconds. At one point running a complete 180 around someone in the middle of a fight with the AI doing nothing.

Even if the combat is hard you can make use of it I’ve killed the mercenary hard one like 5 times it’s possible use your gadgets and parries you can also get counter roll ability in skills phantom area you can parry his throwing knives hope this helps btw you can also runaway Rom him sneaking him every time but that might take long

I think Ubisoft should make combat way more difficult. Fighting one opponent you should expect to win, 2 should be a challenge, and 3 guys should just be impossible. We are trying to be ASSASSINS not warriors.

Unpopular opinion here but I think Unity has it beat of all AC games. III and Black Flag made it too easy, Odyssey is a whole different kind of combat but easy too considering the protagonist is a demigod and taking damage and control was very forgiving. Valhalla was enjoyable, but they didn't feel like assassins fighting just like Odyssey. But I think it really peaked at Unity, it was not TOO easy but you could still massacre a street if you're skillful enough. I think Mirage combat is too simplified, yet has less critical opening times so in a way it's also more difficult.

The combat definitely seems more fluid than Valhalla, and when youve got a generation brought up on the AC RPG saga and it "improves" slightly in the parkour and combat departments it's naturally going to receive praise. But at the same time you've got individuals like yourself praising past AC titles like they're peak when they've always been a janky mess. For combat like AC1-4 they're braindead. Just parry your opponent to insta-kill them. At least it seems like there is a bit more thought needed for combat and stealth in Mirage. Overall, id argue that the peak AC game has never been made. If they kept improving upon what the Ezio trilogy built its possible that it could've been. I mean shit, Unity could've been peak if it stayed in the oven. The series has/had real potential, but just like every other problem in the world you've got overpaid and greedy executives pushing unfinished product out of the door. In the case of these triple A publishers the executives aren't even consumers and fans of the very industry they "lead".

im in the process of it right now so far removing stamina and adding amunition multipliers opens up combat to multiple new avenues by rellying on heavy attacks and roll overs for heavy strikes and paries along with using tools mid combat the game becomes way more fun im working on a way to make the guards ai harder to combat but i still have to find a way into that part of the system at the oment currently increasing the games speed makes the ai faster which helps alittle but not any less dumb this can be made harder by using weapons and perks that half yourh elalth but double your damage output

if youd like ot try the changes downlaod basim replacer off nexus mods its am od by quileer which includes many improvements to the game also installing reshade and removing the sand effect in the air makes the game look as vivid as unity
