Have a very similarly specc'd 2013 C350 (white with the same AMG wheels as your car) and I have to say that I absolutely love it. Not the fastest car on the road but it still packs a punch when you put your foot down.

As a proud owner of 2008 C350 purchased new back than. These are great cars but with some caveats over the 16 years of ownership. First MB in there designed obsolescence starts with the intake manifold. It’s using plastic thats right plastic arms to control air flow will break due to heat! Duh it’s sit on top of the engine in the back… So you’ll need to buy aftermarket kit comes with aluminum arm than problem solved. Find a good mechanic the dealers will rob you unless you bought an extended warranty. Than the electric fan will go out only because the soldering job is piss poor and again loses the soldering integrity due to heat! The fan’s control unit is in a sealed plastic containers so getting to it is a hassle. Find aftermarket fan you’ll be good! There’s a known steering lock failure on these W204 chassis and basically once again design obsolescence the steering lock loses its integrity over time and one day you start the car like I did backing it up from the garage. Turn it off to get something in the house and tried to start the car and won’t start again. Lucky I was home not in gas station like many owners discovered! Of course MB knows about these issues but won’t do a recall… These are the worst known issues. My passenger side mirror stop folding so the motor gave up over time so that needed to be replaced. The circular headlight control unit gave up the ghost had to replace it twice! The fuel pump will eventually will need to be replaced when you start smelling gas after fill up, especially if it’s garage. It too is plastic pump the seal starts cracking over time. There 2 fuel pumps underneath the rear seats one on the passenger and the main pump behind the driver. Mine was behind the driver. The AC fan blower will also give up the ghost as well and will need to be replaced. Again my fuel pump and ac blower needed to be replaced within days from each other and my car has 285,000 miles so not bad at all and just happened now 16 years later. If you have the MB Tex vinyl interior the middle seams from the bottom seats will tear overtime. Again time age all things so try to condition the interior once month so the interior is clean and won’t fade or cracked if left on its own. Basic 101 car care. The Engine and transmission is bullet proof! Do the maintenance and car will take care of you.

Thanks for the insighful comment! We still have much to learn and discover about the car. Great job on keeping it running near 300k miles that's really impressive! 👌👍

Wow - you nailed the play by play! There’s recall on the fuel pump so hopefully it was free.
