Challenge Idea...let characters or cast members determine your day. 'What is the next thing I should do?' Can't do anything more than once. Might be interesting to see if character interactions are more or less awkward.

I don't know if it's luck or something else. Our party of 5 adults went during the Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend (so fairly busy). We didn't show up at the park until 10:00 and managed to ride and see all the major stuff and meet several characters without Genie+, and still took a break back to the hotel around 2:30 for 90 minutes or so. I guess my point is that unless you have a need to ride every single thing and see everything, you don't need to waste the money on Genie. Use the money you save to buy lunch.

It is a bit of a gamble. You never know what the crowds are gonna be like until you get there. Disney inflates the genie plus price based on predicted crowd levels. So it's a risk you take. I plan on going over the summer and definitely will get genie plus when rockin roller coaster reopens.

My favorite videos are the Perfect days! Also, I love that the editor kept your commentary and the sounds around ya'll during the rides, as opposed to random music + montages. Made it feel more alive, and like I was actually there

Also, Disney started their 3 day 3 park pass on Tuesday April 2 so many visitors like us may have pushed their visit back to start that day. Plenty of 100+ minute waits for the most popular rides with genie plus rides booking out by mid morning.

Wow, ya'll got a lot done. I'm here at WDW right now and I've found your Spring Break crowds. But, I've still had a good time. I come often so rides aren't my priority. I actually have not stepped foot in Galaxy's Edge this trip and since tonight is my last night, probably won't. Since it is so crowded this week, and I don't get Genie +, I decided to just use this week as a relaxation week. I'm here solo so that in and of itself lends toward relaxing. I have an out of state annual pass and have been going to whatever park I have a reservation for in the mornings until about 1 or 2 and back to my resort until around 6 or so then to another park. I didn't even try for either of the virtual ques, just couldn't be bothered. I've ridden everything I've wanted to, with the exception of ToT which had a 150 minute wait last night. I said nope to that and went to the HBD Lounge instead. I saw FWs at MK and Fantasmic at HS. I went to the pool for a little while on Tuesday. I didn't even go back to the parks on Wens., which was the rain day, just laid around my room and watched videos. To me, those are the best days.

I love how a Disney trip is now broken down to “ you need to plan every detail down to the very last second and stress about if you’re doing it right. “ This is why , when I do go, I save up for a very long stay so that if I miss something one day I can catch it the next. I lie relaxing vacations. Not constant sprints of frustration. Are you really enjoying yourself at that point?

There are 4 levels of passes, the more expensive the pass the less blackout dates it has. Most of the locals have one of the cheaper passes, but they likely have one of the passes with fewer blackout dates, or they could have just bought day tickets.
