There was a VERY RECENT review on Amazon about this bag where the wheels made it so it wouldn't fit in Frontier's personal sizer ......just fyi

I just flew with the bag. That’s not true. I have put the bag in both frontier and spirit size checkers. It fits. But you do have to be careful not to overstuff the front. Just make sure that the front doesn’t bulge out too much.

@@shortieyee3000 good info to know. Maybe the person who typed their review over- stuffed it in such a way. Personally I have the TRPC Bag as well as the Underseat Pro. Haven't any issues, knock on wood. :)

Don't forget that the height of your carry-on must include the handles at the top and the wheels on the bottom too. Otherwise the bag will not fit in the airline sizing bins at check-in or at the gate.

glad this bag works for you - but fyi for anyone looking for a personal item bag, the 18 by 14 by 8 size restriction is practically never enforced. every single airline i've flown on even the cheapo ones allow bags that are much bigger. most 30 liter travel backpacks are 20 x 12 x 7

I did. It fits as long as it is not over stuffed in the front. If it bulges out too much It won’t fit. I find it’s best to lay the clothes flat in the bag, instead if rolling.

@@shortieyee3000 so during my last trip with spirit, I brought the calpack mini carry on and my Louis Vuitton pochette Métis (hidden in a paper Starbucks bag with snacks) and no one questioned me about it both ways. I think as long as it’s tiny enough compared to other carry on sized bags and you don’t have any other luggage/personal bags with you, you should be fine.

The London Fog Under the Seat Bag qualifies as a personal item for most American airlines (18 x14 x 8 for AA) BUT Virgin Atlantic defines the personal item on their web site as follows: "Additional items you can take with you To help with baggage conundrums, we’ve compiled the following list to clarify the bits and bobs you can take onboard in addition to the allowances above: Your handbag, small backpack/rucksack, pocketbook or purse, as you would normally use it (in other words, not just being used to contain items that would otherwise be regarded as baggage) Your overcoat or wrap Your umbrella or walking stick (these cannot be pointed or sharp) A small camera and/or pair of binoculars A reasonable amount of reading matter for the flight An infant’s food (for consumption on the flight) A small amount of duty free goods Headphones for onboard use (they’ll need the standard 3.5mm jack)." This leaves lots of room for interpretation. I don't want to risk a VIRGIN ATLANTIC gate agent denying it and forcing me to pay a hefty baggage charge for this "second piece of baggage". She only mentioned one airline and never said there isn't. Plus, Ryanair only flies within Europe which isn't even as large as the continental US so your basically doing exactly what you're accusing her of.

Having travelled to the US several times over the last few decades, it’s not something I will ever do again. Just an awful country. As backwards as your critique.
