Growing up as a kid we had very little. So when I saw those potato chips, I knew exactly where it was going! We only had bread and bologna though. Every once in a blue moon we might've had mustard or miracle whip. Honestly though, a plain bologna sandwich with crushed chips was a godsend!!!! Really brought back some great memories watching this. I'm about to try my first ever fried bologna sandwich and can't wait! Thanks for the great content!! 👍

Population, just over 2000 people.Folks there called it Bella Coola round steak, and apparently they really liked it! Was working in the grocery store and we were going to put bologna by the piece ( 5 lbs each ) on sale. When the product arrived, there was a whole pallet of it. Why so much I asked, watch what happens I was told. The following week the sale started, we cleared a large section of the meat case and filled it with boxes of bologna 2 pieces to the box. It was insane, folks were buying it 2 - 6 boxes at a time. More arrived mid week and on the last day of the sale there was none left! I couldn't believe it.

I ate these ALL the time as a kid when I went to my granny house. We ate these, hot dogs on white bread, fried ramen noodles with bacon, onion, & celery. Yes, we were poor, and no we never complained and were always happy to just get enough energy to back outside to play ball or go fishing. The good ole' days.
