What a stunning home! I realized I was 3/4 of the way through the video and my mouth was literally hanging open! To do this house service, you would need a phenomenal piece of property, but the end result would be worth the search! The angled hall makes each room feel special with their non-90-degree corners! I think I would make a small change to have a table in front of the fireplace and make that my dining room while the music hall would become my living room. The only downsides that I can find with this plan are: 1. There is no laundry room (this one is actually a deal-breaker for me); and 2. There is no good place for an attached garage. Regardless of those deficiencies, it is still a beautiful plan to look at. 😍

@ I agree that an attached garage would mar the aesthetic. Because I am on wheels most of the time that I am out and use just my cane inside, I am a wuss and want to stay dry and warm; we currently live in the Canadian Arctic, so we have a list of things we want in our retirement home. While this plan may not fit our criteria of perfect, that doesn’t take anything away from the creative genius who conceived of this plan. This house - especially built on a property like the rendering - would be spectacular! It is truly stunning, and while it may not work for us, it is still gorgeous! I can imagine anyone would be proud to live there. One thing that I wanted to note and forgot earlier…. I adore how you handled the office space in the master suite! As retirees, I would absolutely claim that as my crafting space, but it keeps whatever you use it for contained and private. The architect who created this plan should be very pleased with themself as it is a magnificent plan❣️❣️❣️

Awesome build, reminds me of those fortune teller origami back in childhood! The interiors are breathtaking; love the rugged stone design throughout.❤ As for the office, it seems too cramped that kind of makes me feel claustrophobic. 😓 Could we either probably change the table to a less bulky one or move the headboard of the bed to add space? Was thinking of adding a basement for the garage, laundry, and storage, but seeing that it’s near a water source, I was thinking that flooding might be an issue. Looking for better alternatives as it is rather inconvenient to have a separate structure for the garage and laundry especially when you have to go out and there’s a downpour ⛈(we got 6 months of rain here). What can you recommend?

Thank you for your kind words ☺️ It is true, the office can definitely be bigger, we will make sure to make the office space more convenient in our future designs. As for the basement, flooding will definitely affect it as well as the soil condition, given that this design is near a lake so digging a basement on a rocky soil would be challenging. We will definitely consider your notes in our future designs to make sure we fulfill our viewers preferences ☺️

I love the idea of living in a piece of artwork! Your homes are so beautiful. I will say, though, that the piano would be just about impossible to play. Pedals and keyboard too far away from the seat! 🎹
