I'm just IN the process of upgrading to the Gen6, shall be delivered in a few days. My Latitude Hybrid HR was (I guess) killed by the hellish temperatures of the last weeks (almost 104° F here in Europe), the battery didn't charge full anymore and the display was dead. But since I felt almost some kind of phantom pain after not having it on my wrist anymore, I decided to buy a new one. Really curious about the changes from the old to the new generation, that'll be fun to discover.

Oh my gosh that is INSANELY hot weather!! Yeah I guess that would do it unfortunately, dang. I do hope you like the Gen6, for me it's the perfect level of interaction with a smart device on my wrist; still wear and use mine every single day since this video and it has held up great!

As of last week, I am rocking the same Pixel 7/Neutra Gen 6 Hybrid combo. It's great! I wanted something with an e-ink display and Fossil's hybrid is the only branded watch on the market that satisfies that desire. I like that there are no flashing colors to distract my attention I like that it looks like an analog watch and that the analog method of interaction means that it needs to be used with purpose. I'm loving the battery life. For me, the only thing missing is canned responses to messages. I don't know that they would work for my main messaging app, Messenger, but that is what I would like to see. I will also probably replace the band, but Fossil's, leather in a silicone channel, band is great!

I Have 2 more questions please... 1) About water resistance, Can I swim or atleast go out in rain wearing this watch? 2) Does this watch get updates from fossil?

I have accidentally swam with it once and it was okay; though I wouldn't recommend it for swimming. In the rain it has been just fine as well!! I have not received an update yet, but presumably if they wanted to, Fossil could push new firmware to the watch from within the app on your phone!

Thank you!! Yes!! I'm wearing it right now, and I almost never take it off. Connectivity has been great with my phone, only one of two weird instances where it's been weird. Battery life is my favorite feature because I just do not have to think about it - I literally don't even keep the charger out, every couple of weeks I grab it from the drawer and juice it up while I take a shower and then I'm good for another couple of weeks!! Love this thing!

To my knowledge, it can only be done through the phone it is connected to unfortunately. Mine automatically set the correct date and time when I connected it to my phone via Bluetooth!

Basically the only difference is in the design; the way the watch looks! They have many other variants that you can check out, too. Same functions, different design!

You can control music from your wrist, but you cannot take calls! You will see when you have an incoming call, but you cannot act on it.

I'm still using my old Samsung Gear S2 and thinking about picking this up to get away from the "normal" looking smartwatch, but I'm reading a lot of complaints about the watch freezing and or dying after a short time. Have you or anyone here ran into any issues with the watch not performing as expected? Thank you

Mine has been excellent so far! My battery still lasts for weeks, and I have not had ONE instance of it glitching/restarting or anything like that. Sometimes it disconnects from my phone but when I get back in range it reconnects automatically!!

oooooh that would be sick!! Unfortunately you can't pay with them, no; I use Android Pay for 90% of the time I pay for something, too so I do have to pull out my phone for that

@@elijahB Yeah I can not wait for that . Just Ordered them and I will send them to company to gold plate them. Gold plating is not expensive as it sounds. But it has to be done properly by good company.OK that is fine. Just one second to pull out the phone anyway . I just need notifications and some fitness tracking . But most importantly I prefer classic watches . But I miss some smart functions. And battery life is great too. I do not like charging smartwatches every day. This is for me the best available choice right now .

I dont recomended fossil smart watch the battery charge so bad. pin not magnet same like a apple charge. My fossil gen 5 charly 1 year old when i charge connect and disconnect then buy new cable charge from amazon still not work. waste dollar hhhh
