Quick notes: 22:28 The balance beam challenge only has 3 contestants to knock down, because most of the cast is deleted by this point 23:15 At this point Checkbook and Cereal are already starting to become "aware", as they didnt remember the challenges a few episodes ago 25:16 No idea if this is Neon Sign snapping himself back to normal or his programming forcing him to be neutral, but it's worth mentioning. 25:28 "Is-" referring to Fake Supercomputer being plastic (see the finale) 25:48 Real Supercomputer is way more animated than Fake Supercomputer 26:44 27:03 "We did all of this for nothing" and "I'm going after Neon Sign" "Didn't you eliminate them" They're pretty much fully aware at this point, not like they can do anything though

25:05 actually changed me. Like this scene can’t get out of my head it was done perfectly, the song was beautiful and it was amazing to see supercomputer rise as the sky became more and more red. Honestly one of the best scenes in OSC history it’s just so perfectly done

Reading the description I'm actually happy you didn't give it a conclusive ending, I feel like properly explaining and closing everything wouldn't have been fitting for a show like this and I feel like episode 8 closes things just enough that you can basicallly infer what happened thru scenes in the episodes before it and in the episode itself Overall, loved this show. I'd love to see you make something similar to the kinda mysterious aura of this show again too!

I never knew how much effort that *you* put into this to make anything so perfect! Never *ever* in my life have we’ve been that surprised, especially about Handheldy’s birthday. By the way, could all of you *be* kind enough to say that the intro is the best thing in the world? I’m sure that everyone that has watched this has never been more *satisfied* in their life. And *with* all of the interesting challenges and personality, you just can’t say no! I just can’t believe *the* effort in making such an *enduring* experience! the shows lore explained? (essentially copying this from the finale but,,,,) The entire show is one of many simulations, supposedly for the entertainment of others, The show had to be canned though, as the characters starting becoming too self aware, (neon sign and pepper remembering the eliminated contestants, who are most likely erased from existence/the simulation once their eliminated), it was meant to be archived until the plastic ‘rock’ that cereal and checkbook had incinerated severed their communication with ‘dotty’ (the computer in episode 7), forcing the deletion of the show and ai becoming more intelligent. its fun to think that this show was secretly a commentary on ai replacing jobs/passions (e.g. music or artwork) and that how it shouldn't be expanded further, but this is only my interpretation of it, as stated in the description the story was more unclear and directionless. 7:58 , also, this little random line from handheldy might actually be referring to how the finale was actually meant to play out, (although obviously it didn't), as the 'rock' or dotty would be able to communicate with the contestants and seen that they had won, being able to congratulate them before ultimately being canned. 10:02 , also also, (besides neon sign), dice would've been the correct answer to this question, but since (at this point) they had been eliminated, the rest of the cast don't remember/believe their existence. Thats why popsicle tray starts button smashing after the question (implying that they were the first one out), which said implications are confirmed when neon sign presses the buzzer and scores the point (because they were the first one out)

@@asoupyferretnamedfar3634 srry forgot to reply to this comment, I understand my comment is kinda cruddy and awful to read but what i meant is that: Popsicle tray doesn't remember dice (who he should assume was the first one out of the balance beam, as non of them would've seen neon sign slide off of it) and since dice had been deleted, popsicle tray was the next one out in the balance beam contest. so in short, he thinks he's the first one out due to dice being erased and not seeing neon sign get off of the balance beam

0:27 Checkbook and Supercomputer's text is still black despite the low/no contrast. 0:37 Neon sign is already leaving before the first challenge begins. 1:46 The team leadership is never brought up again. 2:37 This is the only time there's ever a reward for winning a challenge, which even then gets quickly taken away. 3:28 Glowstick swears, which shouldn't've been possible within his restraints. 5:42 Pepper recalls the color of the day thing that Supercomputer did previously. 7:22 The ground being completely undiggable. 14:44 backpack moment 15:29 Notebook recalls a previous challenge they did, while Cereal doesn't remember it at all. 17:34 The Voting Dimension seems to be really small and prone to overflow errors. 18:26 The view is "nice" up there. 19:46 Pepper gets taken away and deleted. 22:27 There are only 3 cardboard cutouts, which match the remaining contestants. 23:13 They both recall the van they used for a challenge. 24:48 Neon sign notices the host's strange behavior, and in knowing about the lack of prize follows them instead.

so to be perfectly clear, super computer was nothing but an AI host, hosting a bunch of contestants that were nothing but AI's themselves and were merely prototypes for a large scale operation in which this team of people who have worked on the AI for the contestants would refine and use again and again to make more and more object shows, each with their own "unique" characters and personality's. however for this object show, the AI of the contestants proved insufficient, the contestants became too self aware, they stopped having fun, which means there was nothing they could do but scrap the whole show and try again. Therefore the real operator of supercomputer went back into the show in the second to last episode just to remove the supercomputer AI and shutdown the show, with the reason why the operator suddenly took hold of supercomputer near the rock was because of the server which was basically a portal to the show and the very thing that keeps the show running that was put inside the plastic rock, which was the only way the operator could come back, and is also the reason why the contestants dissapeared the moment the server was broken.

a lot of the important things were made more or less clear by the end (no matter how distressing the answers), but i still wonder what exactly was meant by supercomputer changing to show his whole face. maybe he was operating on a lower level of awareness prior to better act out his role, and his death and rebirth indicated him regaining his awareness of the simulation, which happened automatically as some kind of emergency protocol when neon sign deviated too far from the script? the matter of eliminated contestants getting deleted and everyone else losing memory of them also bugs me. obviously it exists primarily for the sake of creating the tone, but in universe, it feels like an odd decision; the further along the show goes, the more cracks form in the continuity of events, and the greater the risk of the facade breaking. also, if these shows are being produced for the public to consume, audiences will certainly begin to question it, too. but... are they even meant to be watched by the public? or is this just some experiment? maybe the reason that eliminated contestants are deleted entirely is because the winners are the only ones that this project is concerned with, being set aside for some other purpose. one last rhetorical question i've been chewing on: in that last shot of supercomputer hesitating to delete the show... is that hesitation a sign of change? a sign that he's been genuinely moved? or does it always take him a moment to pull the trigger?
