I personally like the Naked Palettes. I have made a lot of makeup looks with it and got so many compliments. What I do not understand is why you bought the palette in the first place if it having so much shimmer and that it is not practical for you. Just a waste of $52. The colors are beautiful and you can mix the colors with other palettes. To each their own, I guess.

I completely agree about the Naked palettes. I can't believe they just put out a third one! All the colors in each one look too similar and I hate palettes that are all shimmer, which is all I seem to find lately. Could you do a tutorial of the makeup you are wearing in this video? I could not stop staring at that gorgeous blue color you have on your eyes. SO PRETTY!

OMG FINALLY! I THOUGHT I WAS THE ONLY PERSON IN THIS WORLD WHO HATED NAKED PALETTES! I don't even have them and just by looking at the colors I can't understand what they see on it. I feel the exact same way about the naked palettes!! I NEVER use the original Naked or Naked 2, but I really love the Naked 3, I love the shade faint from the Naked Basics palette for my brows, and I don't really use the Naked Basics 2. So I love 2 out of the 5, and I have yet to try the smokey.

I TOTALLY AGREE ON THE NAKED UGHHHHH!!!!!! I remember buying it because of the hype like you said!!! Even then I remember only liking about two shades!! And at first I made a big effort to use it but the more I got into makeup art the more I got into matte shades and the less I used my Naked 2!! I RARELY use it now. I will admit that the black shade is VERY gorgeous, super black and pigmented. I must say I like that black shade better than MAC's Carbon! I wanna purchase it individually in fact. I like shimmery shades but I hardly like dark brown shimmery shades I'm more into golds which is another reason I don't really reach for it. I feel like the Naked palettes will work better for girls who are always on the go because these colors are easy to blend! IMO. Other than that they are very good quality and what you see is what you get I'm just not crazy about those colors in particular!

LOL! When you pulled up the Naked 2 palette for "Biggest Regret" I was like, "YES!! someone understands me!" I say all the time there aren't enough mattes in this palette and frost/shimmer does not create contour! plus the colors that are matte are not for deep skintones (outside of the black and I shouldn't always have to use black). It's definitely over-hyped along with the Naked 3 (the original is decent). I may pick up a couple of the shimmer shades once they come out as singles, which is what I did for Naked 2.

I love watching you you're an absolute breath of fresh air!! I completely agree with the naked 2 pallet! I didn't feel the first naked pallet had enough matte shadows and I hoped naked 2 would and they just didn't! It's not a flattering look to look like a shimmery glitter ball all day every day! I think especially for more mature ladies where heavy shimmer isn't the most flattering it makes it impossible to create a look! I feel a pallet should give you everything you need for an eye look and to mix it up with textures and unfortunately the naked pallets fail miserably with that!!!

I love the original naked palette after that, I'm with you. I didn't even waste my money on naked 2. I knew when the 2 came out I wasn't going to buy it. Now there's the 3. These companies think we'll buy anything just because it's makeup.

I surprisingly agree with you on the NAKED 2 palette, it really isn't all that. But don't get me wrong I love the NAKED and NAKED Basics ones. The 2 is just a repeat and shimmers don't go well with everyday looks.

THANK YOU for calling out the Naked 2 palette for the lack of mattes. That is the difference between real professional makeup artists that work in the field and people saying they are "makeup artists". They like to use shimmers and glitters from brow bone to lid for every look and we know that is not how it done.

I love the naked2 but I get what you're saying, I always have to reach for the 2 matte shades in order to do a complete look and it can sometimes get redundant bc tease is always my blending colourway, that's why I got the naked basics to complement it and give me more blending colors. But I still love it to death because I find it makes me look effortlessly flawless and they blend beautifully. Love your videos

great palettes. I have the Naked palette (the original) and its one of my most used palettes. The second one was blech and the Basics one is another one of my favorites. I'm excited for the 3rd one, it has more pinky colors. :D I also adore the Bobbi Brown palette.

I agree with the NAKED 2 but I'm trying to use it. I've been watching so many tutorials so I get some ideas on how to use it. It is over hyped & you do have to use it injunction with other eye shadows as there's only 2 matt colors. I do love TEASE & FOXY but as you said, it's hard to do a whole look without using other eye shadows.

My naked 1 palette is also untouched :/ I used one taupe matte color as a brow shade...I love my Wet N Wild Palette and Inglot Freedomsystem palette in all neutral matte shades ;)
