As a teen in the 90s watching the original show, I never thought that this could still be funny in current times. Well, I didn't think they could find a way to tell new stories and have them be as funny as the old stuff. They basically have.

This isn't even the first time they brought the show back, some time in the mid 2000's they did a short one season stint on MTV, but the MTV crowd was teenage girls wanting to watch teenage girls act bad, so they canceled it and I swear next to noone ever saw those episodes aside from a few people. Let me tell you, they were goddamn GLORIOUS. Pure uncut old school Beavis and Butthead just like you remembered them. Mike Judge has NEVER lost his touch, the man is a damn treasure who can always channel dumbassed humor with nuance.
