I just don’t really have fun playing without at least one friend. If I decide to play alone, I invite the randoms into my discord server. It’s not really about the communication, it’s just about having the conversation and interactions between friends/friendly randoms

League is most fun when it's competitive and fair. 100%. When you feel like if you play well and smart, you have a huge chance to win and if you play poorly, you stand to likely lose. Agency. I wouldn't feel the need to duo if the matchmaking system was more balanced (so that players who are genuinely trying to win don't go 2/10 because they're just gapped and riot put them in a game/lane they didn't belong in) and if troll players were actually punished. But the last at least 1-2 seasons it feels like EVERY game I have at LEAST 1-2 players on my team that go 2/10 or have players actively trolling. Every game. Not most. Every game. It didn't used to be like that. I've been playing since season 5. As a high emerald/low diamond jungle main, it's incredibly frustrating to see the enemy Jungler constantly having lackluster performances (like going 3/7/1 with very little objective control) but they still win because I have laners just running it down game after game after game. I almost never feel like "damn, that other jungler out performed me and deserves to win." Sure, it does happens, but it's very rare. Maybe one in 15-20 games. It feels like I have to play damn near PERFECTLY to even have a CHANCE to MAYBE win a game. And that's not fun. But until they fix match making so lane opponents are more evenly matched and trolls get banned quicker it won't be fun and duoing is a way to have 1 less teammate who can potentially ruin your game.

Ok, so maybe u do think about duoq maybe more often then most ppl, but u do use porofessor all the time so u see it every time, and as for riots not fixing parity, they prolly have it where having multiple duos quequd to play prolly puts more of them into higher tiers of matches then their mmr bc like theyre duoed

ok in my case i only duo in casual , aram and game modes that's it but i never been a fan of duo to climb
