The PERFECT Start to a Soul Link | Part 1

I'm currently in a Pokemon VGC tournament on Twitch so I don't have time to make a big detailed post but the idea is that while we could've let Joey get a team form his box, he was so far behind that it just wouldn't be fun for anyone especially because so few encounters were left anyway. On top of that the spice was fine - had there not been the Team Wide XP Share. That kind of messed everything up and I just hadn't accounted for that. The problem is it then created a snowball effect where once Joey was behind it just kept him behind and it was nearly impossible to catch up. So rather than do another Cagelocke (we'll save that for another time) we decided what greater challenge than a Soul Link where now I have to help Joey or we all die a horrible death!

Fruit just so you know there's 2 things you need to know. Vacuum wave doesn't make contact so it wont work like you are thinking with flame body. Also Flame body only procs when you are hit, not when you attack anyways so neither of those things matter.

I'm rewatching all the nuzlockes and this one is my favorite soul link! Joey and Mr Fruit are both peak content, but the hand holding clause is the best. Mr Fruit should use the hand holding clause in every soul link he does from now on (unless it's something absolutely brutal like the USUM nuzlocke with Rob).

Tip For Future Nuzlocke's Starting WIth X&Y First encounter in Route 1 after you Get Pokeball's is Always a Guaranteed Capture No Matter What you Encounter. Pretty Useful tip Seen lots of people Accidently Kill first Encounter not knowing This Hope It Helps in Future.

FRUIT & JOEY!! Don’t forget that the move reminder/deleter is the man with the Indeedee in every Pokémon center. You should be able to get rid of the useless moves and teach your Pokémon better (hopefully STAB) moves. VERY excited for this soul link after watching CageLocke. I stand by my idea of running Blaze Black as a cagelocke. The randomization should make it easier, and all gym battles have 6 Pokémon and many are doubles, so there’s a bit more difficulty. But whatever you guys do, I’ll enjoy, I always love these series ❤️

On another note, I don't think Joey/Fruit should be able to tell the other where to go in the grass, because it takes away from the randomized aspect of it, especially if they guide each other to Pokemon they want the other person to get.

Once you gain access to the wild areas you can level your starter to lvl100 before like the 3 gym leader. Just spawn gigantimax dens and use the experience items from them. This game is TOO giving. Old school pokemon is way more relentless and satisfying to complete. Loving the content none the less! Many this be the run boys!!

It's almost impossible not to over-level in this game, so good luck. Also, fun fact Fairy type is also 4x against the Deino line, Scraggy line,, and Pangoro. Anything that is a combo of dark, fighting, and dragon.
