I'd love to play FEB as well, but unfortunately there's a known bug on MTGO that when you use Shapeshifter with Devourer in the gy it literally freezes the client, so the deck is not playable on MTGO

Instant speed >>>>>>> Hull Breach's potential for a 2 for 1. The upside of Breach is also not relevant in the vast majority of cases, and instant (and ease of castability) can be the difference between winning and losing way too often.

He's a very good player (actually won the Premodern Challenge that I posted in my latest video), so he was just trying some stuff out. The idea is interesting, but that mana base makes me very skeptical.

Why no more Sylvan? Or more fetch (to increase the power of your sylvan)

Cause you are playing a deck that needs a critical mass of both creatures and artifacts to do its thing, and Sylvan is neither. No more fetches cause the damage stacks up and you already have a decent amount of shuffling.

I asked in the Discord and was told by the judges that it is indeed a bug, and the Ring should not untap regardless of whether threshold is enabled or not.

It may be better than Thopters, but the way we win this game is by getting Survival online ASAP, and Trike is the best way to take advantage of that. Having 1 mana 1/1s against the 4 Lava Dart deck is not super exciting, tbh

@@issmoul931 Yeah, both cards are mainstays in the sideboard, though most folks are not playing 4 Vortex (which I don't understand, that card is always messed up).

Honestly neither of us was sure whether it was a bug or not, so I don't think it's scummy, really. If we had known for a fact that's how that works and still did it that's abusing a bug, which would certainly qualify as scummy.

They certainly not, and this deck does not respect it enough. I wanted to find room for at least 1 more Pyroblast, but I don't think I can find it without giving up other matchups in the process.

Survival And welder seems like win more. Welder should go in an artefacts deck, survival in a survival or madness deck.

Did you actually watch the games? Survival gets Welder, and once that happens that's when things get out of control. Also RG is a naturally great combination for a Survival deck cause it naturally gives you access to mountains to enable Anger.
