Perfume is so fun even without the obscene Ash nuking people. The lingering hitbox makes it very good for roll catching. I loved the poison Perfume on my dragon build. Great at Harassing.

I think it's not only balanced, but good for the game. Very easy to avoid and punish. Only ever works on bad players. Its only practical use is as an equalizer against ganks.

@@FighterPL That and Tarnished are naturally weaker to lightning than to the other damage types. Even if you at Max level for the lightning resistance along with the armor and talismans, it probably will still hurt a lot. Especially if it rains and/or the enemy is in a body of liquid.

It will be overnerfed, I bet. Like, it obviously needs a nerf. But, I have a bad feeling it will be completely useless after the nerf. Instead of rounding it out. Like, the actual moveset being a bit buffed. But, Rolling Sparks being nerfed a lot. Though, I WILL say. In PvE, the move is risky. Since you have to lock off, and look down to use it. Which can create some uncomfortable situations against mobile bosses....

@@DataDrain02 Even if they cut the damage by two thirds this AoW could still potentially oneshot people, the only way they could really fix the problem is if they coded Rolling Sparks to not spawn additional clouds as soon as a cloud hits terrain. The primary issue lies in its multihit capability when targetting the ground, which is made worse by the fact that its pure elemental. I have faith that fromsoft can identify what the real problem is here. Because a damage nerf will just result in people casting a body buff and flasking, then proceeding to continue to oneshot people with the nerfed weapon.
