Ikr when I disagree with someone on the internet I will type out an essay making counter argument to what they said where I make actual points. Sometimes will even link studies supporting what I’m saying if I think it’s necessary and am passionate about the topic. I never insult or them or look down on them and always see them as an equal and try to have civilized debate. I usually get a response where someone calls me a kid or 9 year old because they disagree with me (even though many 9 year olds are more mature than they are) or they’ll just call me stupid.

Well idk if I'm that type of person but there's this girl that did so much for me and even let other I suit her just for me. But when anyone doesn't defend her and later others say they feel bad for me or something she would get mad and talk about how everyone is there for me but "no one cares about her" when it's not even true. Many people did. And there's this boy that idk why he always need to bring up this and make me feel bad saying that I don't do anything for the girl. And I actually did! “if their entire personality is based off of one factor.” I can see how this would be annoying but it’s actually a common symptom of neurodivergency. It can be referred to as a special interest (which is common in autistic people) or a hyper fixation. Hyper fixations do tend to change quite frequently though (in my experience at least) and as someone who hyper fixates a lot the person who is fixating can almost find it painful to talk about anything else and they truly can’t help it. A good example is Himiko Yumeno from danganronpa (wanna guess what I’m fixating on right now?), when talking to Kaede she seems very tired and describes talking as very painful but when Shuichi later asks her about magic (what she tends to fixate on) she completely perks up and rambles on for ages. So I can see how a person like this could be annoying but we truly really can’t help it. P.S. please if you are actually autistic or have adhd or even just know more about this stuff than me please correct anything I may have said wrong, I’m just trying to go based on my own experiences and what I’ve heard/seen :) Edit: Thank you for everyone who’s responded in helping me understand more. So based off what some people have said I’m going to put a disclaimer that not everyone’s like this but it’s based on my own experiences and what I’ve seen people talk about.

I have a mental disability and bad RSD, so I'm terrible in social situations, and because of my "masking" and "imposter syndrome", my brain just keeps telling me 'try to relate to them so they think you're normal!!' So if someone is going through a hard time, I have difficulty trying to comfort them, so I end up telling them about a similar situation that happened to me as a way of letting them know they're not alone, and then whoever I'm trying to comfort thinks I'm trying to make it all about me, and everything falls off the rails. So when I continually share stories about similar stuff that's happened to me, it doesn't mean I *don't* care, it means I *do* care. I'm just really bad at expressing what the heck I mean. So usually in social environments I've learned to stay silent and stay invisible, because my disability makes me look like a selfish self-absorbed prick and I hate it

Don’t be to hard on yourself. Everyone has done cringey things when they were younger, or even in present day. I myself have done some very cringey stuff that makes me want to go back in time and slap myself. What’s important is that you’re trying to change that and learn from it. Everyone hated this kid in my class. He was a skinny pale small boy, but everyone acted like he was the grossest dumbest thing in the class room. He sits by himself at the end of the lot much table EVERYDAY. The popular kids in the class started to noticed and invited him to sit with them.I’ve talked to him before he wasn’t that bad at all, like a normal kid. But they decided to pick on HIM for NOTHING. I am a person who “tells it like it is.” I don’t do it to be rude; I genuinely do it to try and help people, and I try to be as nice as possible. For example, if someone were to say “does this dress look good on me?” and I think it doesn’t, I would say “I think something else would look better” instead of “no, it’s ugly.” I only give criticism if it’s constructive, but I still get grief for it. It’s frustrating that people get mad at you if you lie to them, but also get mad if you tell them something they don’t want to hear. Why are you asking for my opinion if you don’t want to hear it?
