Hi Uncle, for the 1:2:4 ratio is 7 cement, 0.5 sand, and 1 coarse aggregate, it is M15 . is it right . if for the M20 is ratio 1:1.5:3. the cement, sand, n coarse should be like this or not. cement 7, sand .375, and coarse .75....or cement 8.75, sand .5 and coarse 1. I figure out according to ur information in the VDO. IF i m right or not please reply n advise me

Hi. 1:1.5:3 ratio. The mass of cement in 1 cubic = 1400 kg. The mass of stone and sand in 1 cubic meter = 1450 kg. If 1 bag of cement weighs 50 kg. 50 kg/1400=0.0357 cubic meters, sand 0.0357x1.5 = 0.0535 cubic meters or 0.0535x1450= 77.57 kg. and coarse 0.0357x3= 0.1071 cubic meters or 0.1071x1450=155.29 kg. 50+77.57+155.29+water30 =312.86 kg. In 1 cubic meter it weighs 2400 kg of concrete. Therefore need to use cement 2400 / 312.86 = 7.67 bags. cement 7.67x50kg.=383.5 kg. sand 77.57x7.67= 594.96 kg. coarse 155.29x7.67 = 1191.07 kg.
