You Will Not Know My Name I’m 15 and I can hit it with vibrato. People aren’t saying she’s bad it’s just the last note didn’t have any texture so it sounded like a scream more than the angelically powerful note that Christine hits. She needs practice. You can clearly tell her vibrato is all over the place. It’s good to have a little criticism because that’s how you get better.

The last note needs to be held out longer, it's more ore of an "ah" vowel in the word phantom than it is an "eh," and it's too bright in places that need a richer sound

Aggressive Banana it just depends on the girls voice. The girl in the movie did have a deeper, less bright voice though. But I agree that the last note does need to be more sustained.

The E6 is actually written that short in the score, most actresses who play Christine just sing it longer than written. Also the vowel thing is more of an opinion/style choice. "Ah" would be a modification/fake vowel since no one actually pronounces it "phahntom" when speaking. A lot of the Broadway actresses do sing it on an "ah" but Emmy Rossum sang it on an "a" as in "cat."

The singing was phenomenal. I really liked the change that Luke made in the first part with "stronger yet." I also think it would have been cool if they put there own twist on the song, like Luke did that one time! But what would really excite me would be if they would have acted it out more, with pretty spectical, if they could afford or find a way around it. Maybe it's the theatre geek in me, or the film lover. I wanted to see more of a video, (but different then the original movie)!
