My mom took me to the Phantom when I was 12 years old in the Netherlands. Andrew Lloyd Webber said that the Phantom (Henk Poort) was the best he had seen perform this part. And he was the perfect Phantom. His voice just so easily flows in this roll. Just as you are perfect in your arrangement on the piano.

This is the first time I’ve heard this ‘theme’ song played solo on the piano 🎹 and it sounds wonderful! I used to play the original version of it by Bach, which was a fugue (in D or F, if I recall), on a 3-keyboard pipe organ when I was younger. I never thought it could sound so good on the piano, but Francesco does an amazing job with it and ALL the covers he does! * I was also a pianist at the same time, and decided to stay with it and gave up the organ to concentrate on only the one instrument I preferred, but never even entertained the notion of playing it on the 🎹!
