im 13 now, but when i was like 7 years old this movie (2004) and this song was my favorite thing to talk about and like the only thing i talked about. my teachers thought i was either 1. weird or 2. had parents that despised modern day music, movies and childhood. but i didnt. i found the disk in my stepmom's movie drawer and fell in love. my rolemodel was christine and i would only watch that movie. when i got my own laptop my history was full of youtube songs from this movie and downloads of christine from google images. back then.. i didnt really have my "developed" singing voice , so i could never actually "hit" the high notes.... but i had gotten so tied up in youtube today.. i went from listening to ariana grande to this. i had never really looked up this movie for 6 years but now that i did, i literally did NOT know i had to ability to sing these songs the way i did. on the other hand... you are amazing. i congradulate you on 102,654 views on this one song and im proud to be the 102,655th viewer. you are amazing.

Brett, I have sung this several times now and enjoy it more each time I sing "with you". Not only is your voice 100% brilliant, but you ARE the Phantom when you sing - from the voice, its strength, the feeling and emotion you put into it, and your facial expressions giving out the menacing yet longing looks of the Phantom. Then to finish, you become a little less menacing, and appear slightly vulnerable. You are MAGIC. I am longing, so much, to record a duet but as I said before, I don't know where to go from here. I sincerely hope you are able to continue making wonderful karaoke duets, or maybe by now - alas for your adoring public, but not for you - you have whisked into the West End, which I hasten to add, you deserve very much.
