mcadder of course it's the movie version with a Christine that's sounds like an average high school play and Gerard Butler phantom which is a big misrepresentation of the phantom and since he has absolutely no singing experience he sounds terrible and clearly should never sing again

I disagree I think Sarah Brightman sings these awful. She sounds like a croaking frog. I think Emmy Rossum sounds way better than Brightman. Also I think Gerard Butler did a great job interpreting the Phantom I think he showed his psychotic side along with his passionate and vulnerable side. Obviously Gerard Butler’s costume and prosthetics weren’t the best. He did the best for what he had.
