Listening to this is an adult it's actually brilliantly written. Milo starts off rather depressed not noticing the beauty in the world. His adventure taught him many wonderful lessons. The demons he encountered are many things we must overcome in life. And when he came back he had a new perception on life. He no longer is rushing through life not noticing the splendor all around him. He instead is now living in the moment and enjoying where he is.

Such a great book. What a wonderful imagination this writer has!
I never heard of this book and just listened to it for the first time as an adult and still loved it. That was a great journey it took my imagination on, I loved all the different characters and places. It reminded me of my childhood imagination. The person reading this does a really great job with all of the different voices.

Norman Dietz! At long last I have figured out the original source of this. Julian Emerson may have uploaded this, but he is not the narrator. The narrator is Norman Dietz and it was originally published by “Recorded Books” on CD. This information was edited out of the uploaded version. I hope this might help some others. I was able to track down a used set of the CDs with much better audio than this.

I am going to order the book now tho too. 10/10.

@sondraW3 жыл бұрын
Great book! Im 58 & I remember reading, some 45 yrs ago, The Witch of Blackbird Pond as required for school. Ive had 4 back & 3 neck surgeries in the last several yrs & have been listening 2 3-4 audiobooks a wk. I have listened to many books that were required reading in 6-12th grade & they are even better, as my brain has matured. Lol I am very grateful 4 audiobooks, now that Arthritis in my hands precludes me holding a book. I close my eyes & my imagination takes charge! Im so thankful 4 Ppl who have the talent of writing these brilliant books & happy they are free on audiobook, so ppl with limited income &/or physical limits can keep their minds active!☮️
