Arrogance at its finest ! I wish I had a dollar for all the docs ZAHI said whatever HE touched or was involved in would be the " The MOST IMPORTANT chapter / discovery or whatever in the history books ! In reality he just shows up for the camera's after the discoveries and AFTER the labourers had probably worked for next to nothing !! Its paramount to grave robbing hoping to find MORE treasure !

The preponderance of evidence suggests that the pyramids were indeed tombs for kings. This evidence is greater than any evidence for another idea at the moment. This is the current knowledge. Perhaps more evidence will come to light about this subject in the future. We are still discovering, as with any other subject.

This is simply not the actual science of it. It’s conjecture. All the structures inside, alone, could not have been done by hand. That’s the simple truth. Any attempt to demonstrate the purely imagined technology, will set the debate to rest.

This is a very interesting video. It has presented a lot of information about the building of the pyramids. I am disappointed to hear some of the comments below. It seems many Americans do not want to believe that the ancient Egyptians built their pyramids for their Pharaohs. The fact that partially cut stone blocks can be find on the ground at the pyramid site, rock debris from cutting the stones are found at the site, a village & cemetery for the pyramid builders on the pyramid site, the ruins of cafeteria & food remnants on the pyramid site, when we have hieroglyphs describing how ancient Egyptians moved heavy stone structures, and yet we have the mindless comments below. It seems in the modern era where humans beings from the most industrially developed countries in the world who created their societies based on the European Enlightenment and build the highest standard of living for its average citizens do not want to acknowledge the achievement of another culturally distinct people and their achievements at the dawn of civilization. The fact that Seti and Ramses II were buried in the Valley of the Kings (not in pyramids) proves that many Western held beliefs have no basis in reality. Near the Valley of the Kings is a village of ancient tomb builders who cut the burial chambers into the rock. Again it was not slaves from Canaan but native Egyptians who cut the tombs of the Pharaohs of the New Kingdom. The ancient Egyptians were one of the first civilizations in human history and they had a written language. Thanks to a Frenchman Champollion we can read the hieroglyph inscriptions on the monuments of ancient Egypt. We have physical evidence that demonstrate the ancient Egyptians ingenuity. We know who build these structures. Yet there are contemporary humans from the most developed modern societies who do not believe in reason and logic but prefer something else.

Why use ramps, just bury the pyramid using sand as you work your way up. Once you reach the top clear away the sand as you work your way down putting on the finishing layer. Same way the Romans built the Pantheon.

It is quite possible that what is being found today belongs to “management, overseers, first quality artisans”, and not the average pyramid worker. There would be little evidence of the existence of slaves, or unskilled people who drug the stones around. The contribution of unimportant people involved in pyramid building would not have been acknowledged; (like today; do you see any trace of workers who build skyscrapers, dams, bridges?). Slaves and common laborers would have lived in hut compounds far outside the temple construction zone. Only important staff would live close to the pyramids. And, only their lives would have been recognized and celebrated. Slaves may have been part of the state building workforce; but they were not mentioned because of their lowly status.

Perhaps you'd like to tell us which earlier group this was? Any evidence for this, any at all? Thought so. Otherwise, the large amount of concise information in this video about who the pyramid builders were stands quite firmly. And this evidence joins that of hundreds of other scientific projects like this one. Read The Complete Pyramids by Mark Lehner as just one of these projects. Mark is a scientist and Egyptologist who worked on the Giza project for 40 years. How long have you been working on your "earlier group" project?
@gardyloo3415

@@bweaverla concise information? Do you mean the theory that slaves transported 8,000 tons of granite over 800 km to Egypt. They then expertly placed 2,300,000 blocks in a perfect shape over a 20 year period. So slaves labored daily and used rollers…to push up a ramp…. an average of 233 heavy ass stones every day ….all perfectly cut….each weighing between 2 to 10 tons….. to build a pyramid perfectly built to face true north. And to top those feats off the slaves placed 5…40 ton granite stones… in the ceiling of the room nicknamed the “kings chamber”. All of this while being in the Bronze Age. So if that’s not funny enough let’s talk about the ramp theory….at an 8% incline it would need to be 5,687 feet long to reach the top. Yeah ok….the Egyptians built it just as the “scholars” theorize.

In the ramp illustrations, they show four 45 degree corners. That would be unreasonable and impossible for all those men pulling incredibly long ropes to drag a sled with several tons of rock around such tight corners. They would have to build from the inside out using circular ramps, lifts and pulleys as well as the ropes and sled.

i'm not certain that family living conditions and food quality speak to the motivation of the workers. other projects, like the great wall of china, also had family living conditions... the work force consisted of soldiers, common people, and criminals. dna shows descendants still living in egypt but doesn't show where they came from originally, only where they went up to modern times. i do like the theory presented in the video, but we don't know for sure.

I agree with your concerns. But the evidence is overwhelming that the ancient Egyptians build their great structures. Just like the fact that Seti and Ramses II were buried in the Valleys of the Kings and not in pyramids built by slaves, because pyramids were never built for Seti and Ramses II. The Valley of the Kings were build by ancient Egyptian tomb builders who had their own village nearby. There is also a cemetery for them with inscriptions that can be read since Champollion deciphered hieroglyphs. These inscriptions clearly records who built these tombs. I hope as a person of reason and not someone from the modern Western World you will not use your bias to judge a great ancient people.

Herodotus was right again! His accounts talked about his guide showing him the ancient tablets that showed lists of foods for the workers of the pyramids! Yet historians decided that since slaves built the pyramids, Herodotus was mistaken again. Because of the growth of interest in archeology, many of Herodotus stories have proven true. It's so much easier for a historian to ignore his writings as too fanciful. Then they find proof.

Saying that the pyramids we're built by the Egyptian familys is not true it had to be slaves , because it doesn't fit with the Exodus when Moses led the Hebrew slaves out of Egypt from hard bondage to find the promise land .

It was Egyptians and slaves who built them. The Bible says they were black because of Ham and his family were black and ham was the father of ancient Egypt. But Egypt wasn't the name then.

I hate to be the one to break it to you, but the stories in the Bible are stories, they have no historical truths.
