Kalilangan means feast of the feasts. It showcases different festivals that they celebrate in Mindanao. These festivals showcase the diversed culture of the people who reside in there yet they manage to live in harmony and peace. As they say there is a unity in diversity. These depict the colorful and radiant culture of the mindanao!

This performance is worth it but it was misjudged by some of us without knowing any farther background of it.Culture dance festival is performed what it is meant to be there's no such thing to add or change in the steps because in terms of culture,it's the way of life which makes this performance naturally based and guided by the means of culture.

My toughts: culturally inspired sya. However it didn't capture the beauty of a true accurate cultural / ethnic dance of the Philippines. And tunay kasi na cultural dance have strict steps and body movements to follow, movements have to be precise and it cannot stray away too much from the basic of whatever dance they are performing. I love love love the dances of mindanao, performed even some of them in the past. Sad that this performance didn't capture the vigor and control and pride of the Mindanaoan Dances

Sabay sabay sa first at middle part. Kung nakikita niyo yung mga hindi pagka sabay sabay it's because parted ang dancers. May sasayaw ng ganitong steps at may sasayaw ng ganitong steps sa iisang ritmo ng tugtog o magkasabay na gagawin. 2 counts po sila kaya madalang ang pagkakamali. Pagdatin naman sa gitna hanggang dulo may mga sayaw na medyo mahirap sayawan. kaya hindi sila masyadong sabay sabay

I'm a bit disappointed. Kalilangan celebrates the harmonial co-existence of the tri-people of General Santos. There wasn't even a representation of the christian community coming after the Muslims. Very little exposure of the Indigenous Tribe. The performance and choreography itself was also quite depressing. Although I do commend the colors which they used to represent our Muslim brothers and sisters. I am from General Santos City and I do follow the festivities here so I'm quite knowledgeable. They should have sent Indak Kabataan Performing Arts.

Never smile when dancing them, I don't know why but seriously...never smile Know what my Mindanaoan cousins said when he and she watched this they all said the same thing "The absolute disrespect that I got from this "Mindanaoan" dances"
