Albert Pike (December 29, 1809-April 2, 1891) was an American attorney, Confederate officer, writer, and Freemason. He first joined the Independent Order of Odd Fellows in 1840 then had in the interim joined a Masonic Lodge and became extremely active in the affairs of the organization, being elected Sovereign Grand Commander of the Scottish Rite's Southern Jurisdiction in 1859. He remained Sovereign Grand Commander for the remainder of his life (a total of thirty-two years), devoting a large amount of his time to developing the rituals of the order. Notably, he published a book called Morals and Dogma of the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite of Freemasonry in 1871, of which there were several subsequent editions. Pike is still regarded in America as an eminent and influential Freemason, primarily only in the Scottish Rite Southern Jurisdiction. Albert Pike in a letter to Mazzini dated August 15, 1871, said "three future world wars would prepare the world for the New World Order. In those very same Protocols we can find also freemasonry and secret societies will be destroyed by the very same who started them. Why?... to seduce the mass into thinking Luficer is Christ coming to make judgement on the "evil ones"... Evil ones he, satan, nursed and fed so "cleverly". The Protocols of The Elders Of Zion was a hoax and a forgery which is thought to have originated in the Paris office of the Okhrana (Tsarist Russian Secret Police) sometime between 1897 and 1903. The imperial Prime Minister Pyotr Stolypin conducted an investigation which thoroughly debunked the whole stinking fraud, and reported this to Tsar Nicholas II, who ordered all copies that could be found to be collected and destroyed. Unfortunately, circulation of the Protocols was already too widespread to be stopped, and even today, unbelievably stupid people like you actually think they're true. Factually false. The idea of fear and love being opposites, with fear to be avoided, is neither Kabbalistic, nor Masonic, nor even Biblical. It is Tony Robbins self actualization. Insert Donnie Darko lecture here. There is zero "evil" in any of the three columns, including the column of fear/severity. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of Wisdom (but not necessarily the end.) The opposite of love is indifference. The opposite of fear is cruelty. See also: the fearless sociopath. At the human level, I would rather meet someone devoid of love, then someone devoid of ALL fear. There are such things as "active" goods, and "passive" goods. Wisdom, Mercy (love), and Achievements are active goods. Understanding, Severity, and Honor are passive goods. A lack of passive self restraint, results in active cruelty.

falstoffe - you should be careful with being this absolutist in your arguments. 2 Timothy 1:7 uses love and fear as polar opposites. Fear of the Lord in the sense you describe is ראת ה and not חוֹשֵׁשׁ. Love is the beginning of all wisdom, which includes the conquering of fear (חוֹשֵׁשׁ). Okay, thank you for the information. My thinking about this is, at about 30: he talks about keeping secrets. No matter what his fellow mason has done--treasonous or murderous--he will keep that secret. But at the same time, Masons are supposed to live lives of prudence and justice. That's a recipe for craziness-hearing an evil secret and then claiming to live a life of justice. These people who place themselves high upon a hierarchy would have to get some of their conscience surgically removed. As for the doctrine of belief in Christ literally or going to eternal damnation. that is an authoritarian way of enforcing one group's will over another, and I reject it.

For those that are talking about oaths, oaths in regards to being secret are still taken as part of tradition in ceremony. However, in this day and age they are not needed so much. One of the reasons that most esoteric orders when secret (Occult) in the past was due to persecution and torture by the early Christian Church Movement trying to control and dominate the people. So due to this, the true ancient knowledge and wisdom was forced to go underground and conduct their rituals in secret. Leaving only those that went through different initiation steps or grades to receive the deeper teachings of spiritual matters. Most of the negative things said about these organizations of higher spiritual illumination is just Christian movement propaganda. If you happen to find me a video that is concrete evidence of just half the claims outsiders make, I still will state what I say here. Why? There is good and bad people in all spiritual organizations and religious movements, it does not matter which one it is.

Orion Silverstar. Your description of the source of anti-Freemasonry as "the early Christian Church Movement"is a little too vague. It is more accurate to say that it was the Roman Catholic Church, which persecuted followers of Hermetic thought as well as gnosticism, and then in the 17 hundreds and thereafter included Freemasonry as part of the anti-Catholic traditions that it needed to stamp out. Freemasonry took an active hand in assisting the Protestant movement break away from Catholicism and to this day there are Baptist and other denominations who have a high level of Freemasons in their clergy. Freemasonry is now out of step with the minds of humanity and foolishly holds onto it's secrecy and secrets, when this age calls for full revelation of the mysteries of life. Peace and blessings.

I may also add that, apart from practical reasons for oaths, there is a symbolic significance to taking and keeping an oath, to being imparted a secret in a particular way and internalizing it and letting its effect evolve in one's consciousness without simply being told in a profane way that has no effect on the mind. In other words, the degrees of Freemasonry impart symbols and allegories in a very specific way so as to have an impact on the candidate. This tradition of keeping these methods secret preserves the mode of transmission of these symbols.

Matt Jones- I began an independent investigation/practice in sacred geometry almost twenty years ago. I went into it looking to uncover secrets, and I found that it is likely that there are reasons why some things are secret. Humanity is at a juvenile mental state, they have no business playing with old technology that could hurt them. Power without responsibility is why the world is so corrupt right now. I think any of the explanations of the symbols you will receive will always be lower level if they do not incorporate geometry, but thats coming from someone who has decided to decipher truth through using a compass.

Even though he said that he is a Mason, what he said proves it without a doubt. Very well spoken, and very well organized. I have known that the Lord is in his only temple and that temple is the self for some years now, and anyone that can see this is capable of understanding many mysteries of the Divine. This is interesting. It gave some enlightenment of masonry. I grew up as a member of the LDS church and am searching why they use mason signs and symbols in the temple for the endowment. I know Joseph Smith was a mason and incorporated the symbols, handshakes, tokens, and ect. to teach people the endowment. But, it is confusing because it all comes across that I need to know this to get to heaven. Or maybe as this video points out- it all is about climbing Jacobs Ladder. So what I know that is true is : 1. my relationship with God is personal and 2. Jesus died for men's sins. 3 There is no need for signs and symbols to get into heaven because then that would make the atonement of Jesus obsolete and unnecessary. 4. Didn't God get mad at the people who built the tower of Babel. So why is it man is always trying to climb to God. 5. IT is as simple as your soul connecting to God through faith, love, prayer, and scripture study. Not thought signs, symbols, and ladders, ect..... I think people need to quit using so many symbols and just learn to pray with a sincere heart exercising faith and love in your life and you will connect with God!!!! Also, about 30 mins into this speech he talks again about keeping secrets. He says, "I shall keep the secrets of a brother Master Mason as my own when communicated to me as such: murder, treason, and all violations of the laws of God and the ordinances of the realm at all times, most particularly accepted. Another words this is serious crimes that are kept secret. Just like in a Catholic confession one can not divulge the secret to the proper authorities. Who is the father of lies??? Satan is. I was taught that masonry has been around since the beginning, but in different forms, I believe that pike in his book said that it came from India to Egypt...the 3 columns represent the spinal column... the square represents feeling and desire and must be circumscribed by rightness and reason which are symbolic of the points of the compass...all physical manifestation begins with a point within the circle... keeping feeling and desire in check has to do with morality....but I am not a member of masonry, so I really know nothing about it for sure...enjoyed the video though..I have had three uncles that were masons and they were good men,but they have passed...believe what you will about masonry, that’s what I do..peace to all...ps feeling is feminine or beauty and desire is male or strength and must be in balanced union......

Hello William Here is something for you and your lodges to consider. The Book of Genesis tells us the number of the great dragon (the serpent of old who deceived Eve and caused Adam to fall into sin) is six hundred and sixty six (666). Furthermore... we are told it is a human number which means it can be found in mathematics because man (human) use mathematics to formulate equations. If you look to the equation of the truncated pyramid - you will see a jumble of numbers and symbols above a line that has a single six beneath it. This single six is telling us the 666 number in the Book of Revelation means there are three pyramids that make up the name of the dragon. I could give you the information on how the angels build your home in Eternal Paradise but you can only appreciate that when you recognise the three degrees of Freemasonry is an apostatised version of the Wisdom of Solomon.
