yea exactly. a championship team is years in the making with drafting good players, letting them develop and building around them. then veterans (such as cp3) bring in leadership to make a super cohesive team. unlike the nets where 3 superstars (2 of whom are injury prone) just joining the same team hoping for an easy ring ain’t the way to do that smh

The suns are actually one of the most “skilled” teams in the NBA. all of their top 7-8 guys can dribble, pass, and shoot to some degree and are good team defenders. They just lack top end name guys like past contenders.

Glad to see some analysis out there that gets it! None of the network boys seem to have gotten it until they won this last game. Now they suddenly see, hmm, the other three teams aren’t displaying the gifts the Suns are. Starts with the coaching and plays they run- easily best or remaining teams. Ball movement is superior. Their Defense is arguably the best remaining as well. Now add that even if CP3 is out, the team still operates nearly as well. Suns lose 2 more games this year, if that.

I talked to my sister and said it’s a great thing suns had the week off to hone in on their skills while Clips really didn’t have a break. i think while it blows that cp3 is out, what im looking at here when cp3 is out is a potentially lethal system going forward when cp3 gets older and i think the suns are going to be an elite team in the next few years with bridges ayton and booker

I am a Giannis fan but this Suns team has been upgraded. Their basketball IQ went straight up being with CP3. They move and move the ball like CP3 watches over them. And DBook is phenomenal on his mid range. This is too much.
