The biggest problem with their e-ink display, was the typing experience, which could be solved easily by a qwerty keyboard. And you did just that. I am going to pre-order right now. There are actually many other options - "dumphones" - like this (e.g. the Light Phone, Sunbeam F1 Pro, Nokia 2780).

I've been sceptical throughout this campaign, but this was a promising video. Congratulations lads, I'm glad to see this come into fruition. Once they start circulating, I see no reason not to take the dive.

Will the headphone jack be on the TOP or BOTTOM of the phone? Your website's renders give contradicting information. Under the "Durability" button of the "Maximize Every Moment with Minimal Phone" heading, the headphone jack is shown on the TOP left corner. However scrolling down to the "Technical Specifications" at the very bottom, the headphone jack is shown on the BOTTOM LEFT next to the charging port. Clarity would be appreciated, thanks.

This would be a great phone for cyclists. Bike computers (phone sized computers for navigating while cycling) are ridiculously expensive - the same cost as a smartphone for way less functionality. But with the Minimal phone’s android OS, e ink screen and long battery life, it could double as a perfectly functional bike computer.

The clips with the production line should have been released as soon they had them. Sliding dates are a given in crowdfunding. Potential customers seeing doubtful post, and not buying because of that is preventable.

The idea of a minimal phone is good but I don’t know why every company tries to make the phone ugly and unattractive when they try to build something minimal. For example light phone and now this. This phone looks nice but i prefer design from 2024 not from 2004. Maybe they can do better by reducing the bezels and making the phone thin and sleek. It’s just my opinion.

I know, its a joke. They were supposed to ship this month. Yet, they played with the phones they had instead of ordering the production so the product to be shipped. From the refusal of answering questions and concerns to putting shipping date back and back. Im curious if ill get mine as late as march.

Lol I was waiting for the next delay of time for shipment, it's changed like 3 times now at least. Now it's January to March, nice leaving a huge 3 month window open, guaranteed it will be closer to March if it even ships that is. By time it ships it's gonna have old software that is outdated anyways at this rate and to be honest I doubt it actually ever will ship, think it's all BS at this point. Glad I didn't give up my hard earned money to this scam.

Yeah, sure, people love initially. The novelty of it will wear off after a month or two. Modern phones. are to ubiquitous and numerous in features. What you pay for in novelty. You trade for in ability. Banking apps, pictures, and watching a funny video your friend sent you. All become either impossible or cumbersome. If you do not use a smart phone. Then, you plan to switch from no phone or a dumb phone. Then, it makes sense. But if you are going from a smart phone to a dumb phone. It's not gonna work out long term.
