The Photographers of Oslo: Dawid Łozowicki | DOCUMENTARY | STREET PHOTOGRAPHY

My friend Dawids images are not typical of what you see other street photographers in Norway do. He goes against the grain, and pushes the norwegian social construct by coming close and shooting with a flash. His images makes Oslo look like New York City, as someone said once. And I agree!
I sat down with Dawid and asked him about his style, and what drives him when shooting street photography in Oslo.

such an interesting character and work. I would never expect to find such work being done this way in the north of Europe in this ti and age. I appreciate his effort to not hurt people, even considering other people anxieties. Even in Belgium this approach would be challenging, I reckon. I like his humility and being open to be challenged. He does stuff like we see NYC photographers doing, but I David's way matches more European energy. Thanks for introducing him to more people like me.

I've seen more flash street photographers in the european mainland than here. Dawid is really going against the grain when it comes to the "social contract" here in Norway where 1 meter is considered being very close to each other 😂

I admire NYC style - mixed with my personality (I think) creates blend that allows me to do my interpretation of it in Norway. Once again thanks a lot for your words:)
