A most convincing experiment in deft manipulation of Ai prompts and perhaps making the ghost of the departed diarist slightly uneasy!

You are doing an amazing work with your channel to help us newbies, and I am sure some more experienced users, get on with MidJourney and stretch it to never before possible imagery. And thank you so much for kindly sharing the prompts and all your knowledge on art, art history and design. Would you kindly make a video and propmts to generate realistic photos? I am just beginning and have tried depth of fiels, f-stops, aperture, different types of camera and films, but the results are yet not very good, even when I use jpegs as reference. Thank you.

There was a huge change of fashions in Pepys times. From the Cavalier styles of Charles, the Roundheads of Cromwell the Restoration period to the tricornered hats of 1700's. None f the Stove-pipe hats of the 1800's thought and the clothing went from baggy overdressed Captain Morgan styles to tight child undersized garments in the late 1700's. Facial Hair also made its coming and goings. It was possibly different in the New World where my Ancestors had already made the journey..

Hello, I really like your channel, you explain very intelligibly, it would be cool if you made a channel in a telegram or in a discord. And you would add photos and commands to them. I think people would really like it.

After looking at your prompts the one thing that struck me about almost all the images is that MidJourney is terrible at positioning images in a realistic historic framework. This not surprising as there is naturally a shortage of reference material. Apart from paintings of the period there is very little for it to go on.

Good point. I’m wondering if using image prompts of paintings & stills from movies set in a period would produce more realistic environments for the era. Future experiment!
