I am so happy for Denzel & Paulette. Their kids have NO public Drama/college educated.. not all out craziness ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤. The Washington kids are using their nepotism to do well in life. I’m so happy for them!!!!!
@roee78Ай бұрын
They are indeed amazing adult children of two great parents. Interesting take on the nepotism part. I never viewed nepotism being a part of their journey. It has never been reported that their parents used their positions in the industry to give their children an unfair advantage. John David has often shared how he didn't want or did he use the Washington name as an advantage to get an acting part. I think what we are seeing now is that legacy unfolding before our eyes. It was just my take, but I could be wrong.
@shan0997Ай бұрын

Watch the movie over 20 years ago and read the book , love the movie with afro Whitward, Charles Dutton, Courtney B Vance and more extraordinary phenomenal old school actors that I love. glad that Denzel’s children picked up on August Wilson’s novel since the father did fences which also the father directed and played in that was also by August Wilson. I hope they bring other novels out from him as plays. Piano lesson was a play originally.

Yeah but they changed his words . Why change his words then it’s not a Wilson play. Did they change his words one your father do that?
@Rockscissorspaper2 ай бұрын
You're right, it's not a Wilson play. It's a film based on a Wilson play.
@ShareeRedd2 ай бұрын
It's called Adlib
@donnabailey5662 ай бұрын
You're making a big deal out of nothing. Most actors will adlib a bit from time to time. If Wilson was alive, he wouldn't have been happy. Playwrights own their plays. But a few words here and there doesn't change the course of a scene. Most Black actors had a problem with the use of the N word in Wilson's plays; he overdid that.
@heather64572 ай бұрын
This isn’t an adaptation of the play?!? Because that seems to be what the premise of the entire movie is, simply adapting the play into movie where sometimes things will be slightly altered.
