Or you can just nerf the abilities to abuse headpop Pig. (Give trapped survivors basekit calm spirit, chase starts with pig even if she's crouching). So many better options than nerfing a bottom ten killer as whole. Also she doesn't have a chase power if the survivors you're getting know how to make the game five minutes and run a killer that is essentially the worst current m2 killer in the game. If you played pig more and got survivors that had better perks, better experience, better premade, better swf, I guarantee you would know how weak pig actually is. (I agree though that the scream build is dumb but please please please lets not nerf pig because of one build and nerf the build itself) thank you

Now that the patch is live, I've played with Pig a bit (both head-pop and non-head-pop) and watched the videos that both you and Jaysax made on the changes. I've also made a follow up video to clarify the point I was trying to make here. Long story short, the buffed dash/crouch feels smoother, but the changes did basically nothing as far as ending chases quicker goes and I would like it to be made MUCH better. I would like her to have power removed from her innately random aspects (Number of box searches, box spread) and have power put into her more directly player controlled aspects (Ambush). I agree that your points about the box auras and tunneling even though I feel the effectiveness of tunneling is a much broader issue. I'm sure I've missed some things in my scatter-brain-ness, but even if my take is bad I hope I've made it more clear why I have this take.

TLDW: Won 1 game bc of RNG and complain that 1 single dash would've hit post-''buff'' so nerf pig. Having one good game because of luck is not a good reason to make a bad character even worse. And you would know that if you played her (headpop pig) for even one day/stream. But i get it, its easy to be disingenuous when youve got a dozen or so worth of people that have never booted up the game saying its op because Mr.streamer won too easy. When usually theyre just praising you for doing your best, no matter how well or bad you do. But please advocate for maps being smaller.

Uhhh…….you made a build that focuses on head pops, and you’re complaining that it’s too unfair for the ace that died? An average pig game decent good survivors with normal builds usually never have head pops. It’s very hard to pull those off unless you make a build around it.

very well said. i also think it should be +30 seconds, it's fair: you get better anti-loop, but weaker head pop threat. it will give you no less time that before patch, if you play for chase. but lots of angry twitter people will eat your soul for whatever reasoning you have, because they want to force head pops comfortably, without having much to lose. and devs had to react to negative backlash, also devs don't seem to care much about survivors lately

I’m just wondering, do you think a full team dying to a 4 slowdown perk nurse is deserved? The fact that you ran a whole build around killing with the traps, and then complaining about them makes no sense. You act in this video as if ace just got unlucky even though you put on face the darkness, so if you call ace getting you as a killer with face the darkness “unlucky”. Then what are all the people playing against nurse and blight? If anything you should have made a point to rework hex: face the darkness, not nerf an entire low tier killer.

Imo, the reverse bear trap mechanic, if not interrupted by the killer, should be a means only to stall the game instead of an actual threat.

I think they should make it so that progress on the jigsaw boxes doesn't go away instantly when someone is interrupted but rather goes down slowly like healing with hemorrhage or something

The Jigsaw Boxes should just retain their progress if interrupted. You knock out 2 birds with 1 stone. You solve both a pig player scaring off a survivor from boxes and the notorious scream builds that allows a bullshit head pop to happen And it’s not like a nerf the survivors are still pressured to take it off they just simply can’t be interrupted anymore

Just for your information, the pigs timer was not reduced. 150 seconds was the base time. Moving it to 180 seconds was just simply a bad idea that they quickly reverted.
