My brother and I love each other like that! There is only two of us Boys and we cherish our relationship and with our family! I have Faith because of my life journey but if I didn't know CHRIST my brother would have been a foundation to get linked to GOD because of all he we t through! Now he doesn't have an Esophagus but if you didn't know his journey you wouldn't know what he's going through! But through it all, this JOKER (OUR LOVE WORD FOR EACHOTHER) is living his best life through CHRIST JESUS! I'll give my life for him, that's my Big brother! He rocked me to sleep at night when we were little. Growing up poor and sleeping together made us close and we wouldn't have it no other way! GOD KNEW what he was doing when he put my brother in my Life! I thank GOD for faithful family! Blessings

The Jubes have gotten older when this video was made, because you know they never had the audience help them sing. They are good, but older, it is strange that Clay mentioned Joe Ligon of The Mighty Clouds Of Joy, who is now dead, and he has gone now too. We all know how good they used to be when they were younger, but we all got to get older unless we leave before this happens. Now Clay and others have gone, Robert Blair of the violanaires, Calvert McNair, Major Roberson of the Jubes, Ben Chandler of the Jubes, Bill Woodruff of the Sensational Nightengales, Willie Bamls of the Messengers, Martin Jacox of the Soul Stirrers. My brother who often complented him on his singing and his antics while he sang is now gone too. Here Clay is talking about his operation, talking about Joe Ligon of The Clouds who is now gone too, he died before Clay passed.. We must all go one day and I often thank God every day that I'm still here, and we should all thank him, now more than ever. Yes we all will be gone one day or night so we must often and praise God everyday.

Andrew you are entitled to your opinion but if you can't say anything good about someone who iwas going through what Mr Clay was and still came out to meet and greet his public. I am so appreciative of the Jubes.we loved them. When I learned that Mr Clay had transitioned I cried. It felt like I was grieving a family member. I know you miss Clay Cleave. How he use to talk about his family and his marriage. I feel as if I they meant the world to him; but Jesus was first in his life. I recall at one segment of the Legends Celebration when he ministered about the Rich man and the Pool man when he told Cleave to express himself a little.smile. Sleep on Clay.

They didn't give up even at their friend ( Joe Ligon ) homegoing I could tell he was I'll but he was there anyway. I look at their videos every day. They enjoyed praising the Lord . They seemed to love singing.you could see it on their faces.hear it in their voices.when Ben sang his song it was amazing how much they all loved the Lord.I could feel it in my spirit.Clay had the sound of a preacher and he was.maybe not ordained by man but God.Now I will probably get some comments of disagreement but that's what democracy is all about. These are my beliefs.RIH CLAY. TAKE CARE CLEAVE.

I forgot to mention that Tommy Ellison of the 5 Singing Stars have gone on home to Glory and if I'm not mistakenly, his wonderful guitar player, Dennis have passed on too. I always keep up with my gospel groups. Of course, Willie Neal Johnson of The Gospel Keynotes of Tyler, Texas is gone too. I can't go to their concerts anymore, especially with covid pandemic out there now. I don't think they can even have any concerts now. There is some that I failed to mention, feel free to add more to my list.

i Really miss Clay Graham, but I don't feel I miss him as his brother Cleave does, they sang together for so many years. I remember Clay told me that Miki Howard was his daughter, he was proud of her in spite of how she lived her life. He was so proud of Miki. I looked at her life on Unsung, the TVOne show. I love the song, " He won't put no more than than I can bare) One day my change will come. This group, the JUBES coult really sing. Promoters would schedule this group to appear last because they knew everyone would stay to hear, and when they starting all of the people who worked behind the curtain would come out to hear them. This happened when they appeared at the Civic Center in my town. This was my daugher's favorite group, she could sing too, but she left me at the age of 46, leaving 3 children here, it has been hard since her death, but I gave her back to God the night when she died, I only asked God to help me accept her death ny Son preached her funeral since he is a preacher, he said he had to really pray hard and talk directly to God to be able to do it, but God helped him through it, he also preached my Mom's funeral too his, maternal Grandmother, he had to pray to be able to do that one too. I could go on with lots more to tell you, but I will save it for next time. I place, and keep flowers on her grave often.

U mention the other groups I used to be on the road with them evetytime the groups u mention had there on style. but in there prime neither one of them groups could stay on stage with the jubes. You have the right to say what u want but do ur home work. only two groups had n dynamic lead singer n that was the jubes n mighty clouds everybody else was always behind.
