this is the happiest song by these guys, hands down. I think I can gives very rockin' pump-up vibes, but Secret Slogan is so simple in both lyrics and instruments. no blazing guitar, no crazy lyrics, just a song about spending time with someone you love. not to mention, they somehow blend their iconic style of music with the slower paced theme of thsi song???? it's genius. i can listen to this when i want to laugh, and also when i want to cry. it reminds me of early fall, the wind biting through you as you walk down the street. windchimes tinkle and tune in the errant background noise that all fades away when you're talking with someone. that's what this song is to me, a finding of joy and pure happiness in a otherwise melancholic existence.
