I love how Juice and Tig's characters totally did a 180 from the pilot to the series finale. Juice was the goofy tech genius to being one of the most complex characters of the show. Tig went from one of the most despised characters to being one of the most loveable characters by the end.

I seriously like how much respect they have for one another while talking, you can tell they really did turn into family while filming. Neither is trying to one up the other or disrespectful or anything. It's literally nothing but love and like that foreal. You know how some people's ego's get in the way of things, with these 2 It's definitely not the case. I love both of them as actors, as humans and I hope nothing but the best for them moving forward and their families.

I'm so happy I found this. I started watching Sons of Anarchy back when I was in the military and fell in love with it. It was an escape when I needed it the most. To get to what Theo's talking about at 37:52 about how confident Kurt is in his writing, he's also being confident in his audience and not insulting our intelligence by spelling every little thing out. A lot of the hints he drops, you just pick up subconsciously or it comes to you later on and you go, "Oh, that's what he was getting at. How brilliant." It's rare that writers and show runners trust their audiences that much.
@ashleyvaughn78484 жыл бұрын
I agree! I love that element in a writer, a lot of shows now are sort of this pandering crap, spelling everything out because they're afraid of trusting the audience and letting us figure things out. I really miss the shows from the 2010-ish era that would come on TV once a week, and the audience who had to wait a week to have their questions answered. There was an anticipation and a suspensefulness to the art that isn't as present in TV shows today, with things like Netflix and Hulu. I wish sometimes that we could go back to that time. I remember as a kid being so excited for my favorite shows to come on every week (like Malcolm in the Middle and Whose Line Is It Anyway) and I would rush through dinner and dishes to watch them. Everything today is so automatic and instant. I miss the anticipation.

It's weird to think about how long ago that was when it seemed like just yesterday we had that weekly fix, and had no idea where the story was going and what to expect, thank you to Kim and yourself, and eceryone involved really for the parts you played and gave it your all, week in and week out, this show was a huge part of my life and really helped shaped me as a young adult.

I'm just starting to get into Sons and I totally agree with you that all the little subtleties in just one pilot episode, some of those things will carry all throughout the entire series that make you sit back a bit and say "Whoa!" That's the sign of excellent writers who know how to draw in viewers from the word go and be able to continue gaining viewership with each episode. Brilliant work! But then what are excellent writers without the perfect cast to make the show that much more spectacular? That's why this show will live on forever as being one of those iconic classics that will never be forgotten.

I will be straight onto the next episode and regardless of future guests, while of course most welcome, I hope that Mr Rossi and Coats can keep this going as long as is possible. I remember watching most of the first season during my two weeks of R and R from Afghanistan. Did not get to see the rest until I came back 8 months later. Loved this show. So happy I found this podcast.

Started watching before I rode. Rewatched the entire season now that I have a street glide. The show is better a second time around! Thx Theo for this! 🖤☠️

Only just watched SOA but holy cow I was hooked!! I’ve never had a show that makes you feel every single emotion, I cried, I laughed, I got angry every season. The attention to detail in every episode is incredible. Hands down the best show I have ever seen

I love this podcast so much. Usually, when I watch KZbin videos, I speed them up to 2x normal speed, cause I don’t have the patience to listen to people speaking at normal speed. And I’m not young...I am 65 years! But with you two guys, I watched it at normal speed TWICE all the way through! I want he hear EVERY single word you guys have to say. I just binge-watched the whole series. I was going to re-watch it from the beginning but since seeing your podcast, I will re-watch the episodes as you do your commentary on them. That’s how much I love your great idea of a podcast describing SOA episodes. You are knocking it out of the park!

Kim you hear looks great !!! I think it's so nice that you always say how wonderfully kurt wrote the script and you can say it as often as you want because that's just the truth and I think he would be more proud of himself if he heard something like that. Again and again is just beautiful

Season 3 season finale “NS” is a masterpiece of writing, from TV , to Movies, to Playwriting. Season 3 Episode 12 is the greatest episode of TV that exists. Thanks Kurt Sutter.

Juice shooting miles in the face was one of the most intense moments of the series for me

2008 SOA started. 2009 I bought my first Harley. Rewatched the whole SOA at summer 2020. Bought a Harley Dyna. Coincidence? Not.

I watched it from day one. I was hanging down the biker's club with my best friend who has since passed away, I saw the add for a biker show to air. I was so excited to see it. My best friend and I watched the first few episodes together. Sadly, she passed away early November in 2008. She never got to see how great this show became. I also got to meet Tig and Bobby here in Boston around 2010 or 11 cant remember the exact year. I have pictures with both of them Tig had this weird look on his face and pointing his finger at something lol. Bobby was cool. I asked him to autograph a photo I bought. They signed the photo, and Bobby took the photo like he was going to shove it down my shirt lol. It was so cool and funny
