This piece has stuck with me from my childhood and got me into many different instruments. This is my Smoke on the Water. My go-to melody i always learn first when i get my hands on a new instrument.

It's been almost 20 years, my dad passed away 10 years ago and sitting in the subway, being nobody, and enjoying this music reminds me of his unique laughter, love for Harley Davidson and gap between his front teeth. You gave us more than you know ♥️

Had this movie on VHS as a kid and watched it so many times I still know most of the lines by heart. This is one of the most beautiful pieces of music I have ever heard, there's so much raw emotion in this relatively simple melody. Masterful ❤

This is Norway's REAL national anthem! (don't mean to sound disrespectful coming from a Swedish guy, but you guys know what I mean)

And as a Norwegen mannen myself I sincerely do feel more national pride listening to this than the actual anthem.

Norway's "national anthem" isn't actually officially proclaimed the national anthem. We technically don't have one. And we play multiple songs that some consider our anthem on may 17th
@Dhakadice3 жыл бұрын
@@williamzinedineh Yeah, I think it's the same in Sweden; We don't have an official national anthem and the one that's considered the national anthem is actually an older tune with new lyrics. Come to think of it, it doesn't even mention Sweden by name, while explicitly referring to the entire Nordic area.
