People let air out of the car types but always forget the trailer... met a guy on Moreton Is. once with an old early 80,s stock SWB Patrol loaded up and towing a camper trailer - went everywhere easily, as trailer tyre pressures were at 8psi... just floated along :)

to may people have no idea,don't carry recover gear, then go on really soft sand and expect others to pull them out of trouble. i'm glad people film this to show others and gives me a laugh.

I remember being chased by the Ranger at Daisy Hill on my dirt bike and being told we were destroying the environment. We maintain tracks on our own property and it pisses us off to see people who have no idea. To all morons who think this is funny, it's not. We had a group of morons come out to Redland Bay, ripped up our track and decided to steal our tractor to pull themselves out. Smashed our back fence with 100 head in the paddock and also the arsehole that shot one of our beasts because we told them after 3 Saturday's of towing them out to get themselves out next time. To all the people who go into National Parks and rip up creek crossings with full tyre pressure. While I am on a rant, to all you idiots with 5 inch lift kits, when you are crossing narrow bridges and narrow roads, STAY ON YOUR OWN SIDE OF THE ROAD. Town people think that they are the only ones using our beautiful forests but there ARE people that do live in and take care of our remote area's.

his tyres weren't that high but he could have put them lower. Fact is it's hard to tow a trailer or boat without getting bogged on soft sand, even with a good vehicle. Yeah he doesn't have the best tyres or a locke; but get off your high horses.
@ZenMinus6 жыл бұрын
His tyre pressures were too high and no, its not hard to tow a trailer or boat, the tyre pressures on the trailer need to be low too! The correct tyre pressures allow the vehicle (and trailer) to "float" over soft sand.
@adamthomas21656 жыл бұрын
A little trailer like that just needed the right pressures and a bit of momentum, he made it look so hard and made people drag his trailer ??

at a national park in WA if your caught with your tyre pressure ABOVE 22psi they fine you $100 they should do the same for the track at Inskip . There is only a short part thats very sandy and all the tourists with no clue about sand driving get bogged BEFORE they even venture onto Fraser. Your right its painful to watch. I regularly take my 3 tonne caravan over to Fraser and have never required being recovered. ITS ALL ABOUT THE PRESSURE

Dave Tooes what's the fine driving a 2wd hatchback
@davetooes61796 жыл бұрын
couldn't really say but all the tracks in the park are like that small patch at Inskip so I'd reckon you wouldn't get much past the sign warning you of the restrictions and fine. However, having said that I've seen some 2wd vehicles along Noosa back beach all the way to Double Is point. But never in the Stockton Beach sand dunes in NSW!! The fine is for VEHICLES caught on the track with pressures above 22psi so I would surmise $100

16 psi should get you everywhere. There was a guy who had a 2wd Kombi on Morton. He serviced a camp group or something, maybe he's still there. He had good 15s on the back with about 12psi . Pulled many 4x4s out. The 3 rules for sand driving , tire pressure, tire pressure and tire pressure.

Left hand down no down in first no not reverse. Get the bucket. Sslloowweerr. That was flat sand before he got there. Get the bucket again we’re gunna loose him someone pass a drink down to him.
