What do you mean? Its not working in the back, because thats not the trick. It procks his holy relic when allys die. No matter if he is first or last to enter. If your team gets whiped, he procks 3 times the relic instantly by entering the battlefield.

The saddest thing about Cusack is that he isn't even worth running on the Assault Meli team. Chandler has the ability to turn off both Margaret and/or Gowther for a turn with his debuff and he taunts too. Sigurd I guess could be replaced with Cusack, but Sigurd support is the only way to play the team aggressively, and he's incredibly useful even if you do the traditional ult rush anyway.
